Review summary

Celebrity Edge was one of the best ships we've ever sailed on. The Capt and crew and all of the staff were great .... Celebrity....please don't stop the perks. Like turn down service at night, Canvas tote bags, hot Choc when we arrived back...so many of the pre-pandemic perks are still there with Celebrity. Loved it!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Like the old days, before Cruise lines did away with perks, on this Edge Cruise, everything was great.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Yes, there were more activities than we could take in...Loved It!

Entertainment

Fun, fun, fun. Great Comedian, Magician, and stage shows.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
The best Kids Camp ever. The kids never wanted to leave.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
To our shock and surprise, all the crew and staff were pleasant, happy, smiling and enjoyable to deal with. No grumps in the bunch

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful, beautiful ship. Clean, sleek, and comfortable

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very nice. Spacious, clean, and we loved the Infinite Veranda, we used it more than we ever used the regular balconies.

Ship tip

This was one of the best ships we've ever been on. Great Capt and Crew, and the staff was 1st rate. I highly recommed it to everyone.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

3 out of 5
It was OK, just a regular port, nothing special

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
Always a fun port stop

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

5 out of 5
Great views, and great informational talk as we sailed thru.

Juneau, Alaska

3 out of 5
Good port, but a little difficult to get from the ship into town for an elderly person. Long and up hill walk.

Skagway, Alaska

3 out of 5
Tough getting into town because of some rock slides, and shuttle bus lines were long during certain time. Catching the train was a challenge from the ship.

Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska

4 out of 5
Smooth sailing

Victoria, British Columbia

3 out of 5
Late night arrival and departure, we didn't do much, just walk into town and back. The shuttle bus was EXTREMLEY EXPENSIVE ....$15.00 a person. Too much for a family of 4 to just ride into town. I felt that was a gouge....shame on Celebrity.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Couldn't be easier....a breeze to get off.

In Victoria, we booked a 4 hour private van tour which included two hours at Butchart Gardens.(entry fee was not included in tour price) Plenty of time to walk the full gardens. It was a highlight of our AK cruise! The tour went from 6p-10p and we pulled out of port at midnight. The tour was economical (compared to a ship excursion) and perfect - in case any reading this review are interested in such a thing…
