We had a great Stateroom Steward by the name of Herbert. We also had a outstanding dinning experience with the waiting team of Anthony, Karl and Maritess. They were outstanding and deserved to be rewarded for their efforts.

Overall the cruise was so much fun!! we truly enjoyed our first cruise together. the menu options in the main dining room were so fun to try out the adventurous items. Never ending buffets were tough on our diets but we couldn't complain! Loved the elegant nights as well, it was fun to dress up together and take photos.

Our cruise was good but very disappointed in losing a port and time at another port.

I want 3 ports and got 2. No good Feel that my vacation should of been what I paid for !

I LOVE CRUISING BUT WILL NO LONGER GO TO CARNIVAL.....THEY DONT CARE MUCH FOR OUR OPINION IN THIS MATTER THAT HAPPENED WHILE ON OUR LAST CRUISE....I WILL CONTINUE TO CRUISE ON SOMEONE ELSE SHIPLINE

We made the best out of a terrible cruise. Simply said, we will never recommend Carnival again

Being this was our 35th Anniversary and we went all out with 10th floor stateroom and drink package. We found the cruise to be some what disappointing for the reasons I have written on in each of the review sections above. I do not like writing negative reviews, however I felt this must be addressed. We understand things happen. However, if there were more communications from the Captain and his crew, in reference to the problem with ship, the rumor mill would not have been so bad. Even the staff had no idea. One staff member said we were moving on the way. This was not accurate. We were still anchored in Los Angeles. Our main concerns were with the way the staff treated us just asking for the receipts due to the issue we had drink package. I actually heard a staff member at the coffee bar complaining about us to her co-worker. When I said I heard you and just give the receipt she finally did. This did not seem to bother her at all. I explained this every time I asked for a drink, no matter whether it was an alcoholic beverage or coffee from the coffee shop. Another issue was being charged taxes on the beverages we had, due to the fact we were stuck in port because of the faulty ship. Then Carnival embarrassed itself by giving out a $50 on board credit, thinking would take care of any complaints. One of the worst issues was skipping the main port of call we wanted to stop at Mazatlan, Mexico. Not much needs to be said. Very disappointed!!! Next was the fact our steward was not up to par, as to referred in the issue with, something as simple as soap. Seemed more concerned about greeting us. We do not believe she told any maintenance personnel about the shower door.

This cruise was a true escape. I never thought of anything else for seven days until it was time to leave. Best vacation since our honeymoon. We were supposed to leave Saturday afternoon but because of mechanical problems we didn't leave until more than 24 hours later. As a result, we never got to see Mazatlan. Very disappointing. What was more disappointing was the way Carnival handled it. They offered us $50 per person plus port charges and taxes totaling $125 for a couple. Considering most couples paid at least $200/day I felt that the cruise line should have deducted one day prorated from everyone's bill for the inconvenience.

Days of cruising were relaxing. Ate, watched shows, played cards, ate more, had our photos taken, watched movies on the big screen, comedians! Overall a great time!! We are ready to go again

All in all a very good time! Cruises are a fun way to travel, you can be as social or as private as you would like to be.

Carnival is NOT a cruiseline we will use again or recommend to anybody. Our steward and waiters were really awesome but the drink packages and the hassle it was to get a drink (soda) is beyond ridiculous. There weren't a whole lot of things to do on the ship. We wanted to play card games as a group and there weren't many places to do this. Also wasn't that impressed with the Mexican Riviera. The waters were pretty rough on the 2 days at sea coming back.

I selected this cruise as I was taking my children/grandchildren and thought it would offer the most activities for the varying age groups. Carnival has been a "fun" cruise in the past. The entertainment was the worst we've experienced. There wasn't much to do on the ship that was interesting. Unable to use main pool while spending two days at sea. Will likely not select Carnival for a future cruise.

Wonderful memories made for our 25th Anniversary! We had an aft balcony, laughed our abs off at the comedy shows, and ate way to much. We sailed in Cabo, shopped in Mazatlán and took a boat to a rainforest for great food and entertainment. Not one dull moment!

This was our first time on a cruise for all of us. We decided to take a family trip and so we did. Our overall experience was excellent. Everyone on the ship is so nice & helpful. The activities, shows, the casino, etc on the ship is just amazing. Theres always something to do on board. I would recommend Carnival Splendor to anyone thinking on going on a cruise, its totally worth it!!

Nice cruise, was rough at times, I totally enjoyed the services and visiting the islands

People on the cruise were very friendly, food was good especially the Steakhouse,

The cruise was fun, the destination was the best part. Ship is dated so look for a newer ship if possible.

It was a great experience to explore all three places in one week. However you need to make sure you pre plan excursions before you go.

Good for friends and families - some entertainers were better than others, Super comfortable beds, fun movies on deck, and amazing Indian food

We will never use , due to problems incurred on this cruise. We have cruised on 11 different Carnival cruises and this experience was the worst by far.
