You didn't miss much. That's the worst port of the trip!

Stop complaining

Just be grateful you miserable sod you weren’t stuck out at sea when the ship had engine problems. Sure you missed one port but at least you were kept safe Just sucks you have a massive attitude problem

terrywells168, just remember 99 percent of the time the cruise is taking the safety of the passengers. Just imagine if you had that mechanical problem out at sea and was stranded 24 hours in the middle of the ocean. I'm on that ship in 24 days and hope everything is fine, but I would take your situation missed a port than stranded at sea.

This happened to us too back in 2011, we had to do a back to back in Cabo. I know poor us lol. They have their reasons for doing it. I mean yes I wanted to see Mazatlan but I also don't want to die so......

I believe the first stop was mazatlan and like I've stated before, et just did that in January. Trust me, that's the worst of the 3 ports, count yourself lucky you missed it. It can be more dangerous than the others.

Aw that sucks! Hopefully it’ll work out better next time then you won’t have the ship mate cruise lawyers making comments 🙄

Delays and itinerary changes can and do occur for a variety of reasons - weather, mechanical issues, health emergency, etc. All Cruise contracts state that the itinerary can change and they are not obligated to offer any compensation, although most offer some type of onboard credit if there is a major delay or missed port. If a specific port is of extreme importance to you, I would recommend getting a good comprehensive travel policy that will reimburse you for an itinerary change or missed port. We use Nationwide and others may offer a similar policy

You need to read the T&C of the cruise company. Ports can be canceled for any reason without any compansation apart from return of port fees.
