Review summary

The cruise was fun, the destination was the best part. Ship is dated so look for a newer ship if possible.

Embarkation

We had Faster to the Fun so it was quick and easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The Steak House was amazing and if you dine there the first evening you get 1/2 of bottles of wine and they have a great wine list. Rest of the food was just OK.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Splendor is an older ship so the pools were smaller, lounge chairs a little warn, and hot tubs were small. The Spa was OK, windows you really couldn't see out of so you didn't get a good view even though you were facing the sea.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Music was good, shows were fun, comedians were funny. We really liked this aspect.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Kids club was great, my sons had an awesome time and really enjoyed themselves.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room attendant, Adi, was great!!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship is a little old and the windows needed some cleaning as you could not see out of them to well.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
When you book, definitely get a Cloud 9 Spa room, you get free access to the thermal pool which was amazing!! The Cabin is big, spacious and the balcony is a good size

The Splendor is being replaced with a brand new ship I believe n Sept 2019. The Panorama I think it's called.

I'm sure it will be just as fun when updated. We cruised her 2012. She was still nice then.

Hopefully better once it has upgrades for it's new home in Australia in November.
