We were on a repositioning cruise to New Orleans. Leave the kids at home!! Average age was 55-80. Only saw about 8 children all together.

Do your research and book your excursions, we did one at every port of call and loved each one, the service we received was fantastic, encourage all future cruisers to show your appreciation and tip extra, they really go out of their way to make your cruise a memorable experience

Smaller ship, easy to get around and clean. Just not as cool as I would have liked. Just enjoy the ship!!!

Join a FaceBook group for your specific cruise. That's where you get all the details of theme nights and such. Would be nice if Carnival provided this info to you ahead of time.

If you need a quiet area, there are hallways to the left of the theater (called the "Cove") and to the right (called the "Jungle"). Very unique, very quiet, we rarely saw other guests there). I used that area to do some paperwork in peace...

Be prepared to wait in food area. If you want a shaded chair to relax you probably want get one.

It’s vacation. Smile, say thank you for the hard work the staff puts in. Everyone seemed to be appreciative of a simple thank you. Meet new people and be grateful for the blessing of being able to vacation with an amazing team!

We loved the Spirit and hope to sail on her again. While some ships seem designed to de-emphasize that passengers are aboard a ship at sea and focus on indoor spaces, Spirit is the opposite and her design appears to celebrate

Movement of ship was less on floor 1. Get the drink package!! Prepay gratuities.

Great starter ship, more laid back. Bring a blanket, the rooms are cold.
