The carnival Spirit is an oldie but a goodie!! This ship is a perfect size and layout for us!!

In Mobile Alabama we had a 10:30 arrival time!! We got there around 10:15 and waited in a mile long line of cars which took about an hour to maneuver. Once we finally arrived embarkation went fast!!

We always enjoy the food on the Carnival cruise ships. For the price of the cruise the food choices are wonderful! Since we are platinum with carnival we have tried most items on their menu. This year we noticed a few new dining room options on the menu!! The free lobster on the second elegant night was absolutely delicious!! The bread could of been better!! The buffet on this ship had an Asian place called chopsticks which was so good including the soups that I ate there almost every day for lunch!!
Onboard Activities

We did not use the pool or the fitness center but they looked nice!!

We enjoyed the stage shows, the musicians around the ship and mostly we loved the comedians!!

As always the service team all around the ship was excellent!! They were always working hard and still stayed so pleasant and always had a smile on their face!! Our room stewards Antonio and Jerlin were excellent!! Martha in the dining room was so sweet!!

I absolutely just love the spirit class ships. They are smaller ships and so easy to get around. For an older ship it was always clean and very well maintained!!’
Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin 7207 was the best interior cabin we ever had on Carnival. We had so many extra dresser drawers. This room also did not have a space under the door so we never could hear any hallway noise!!
Ship tip
Stay loyal to one cruise line!! Carnival has been good to us and the loyalty perks are well worth it!!
We also like the Spirit class having been on the miracle 3x and legend 1X. This is our favorite class of carnival ships. Will be on the Spirit on February 3, 2024. We also have never been disappointed on a carnival cruise. Thanks for the review
