Overall, my husband and I had a good time. Our room stewards allowed us to keep our towel animals, and even remade one for us when asked. The dining room staff was excellent, even though we did the anytime dining. At the first port of call (Juneau) the debarkation procedure was horrible. We Almost missed our shore excursion because they did a general debarkation call and EVERYONE tryed to get off at the same time. We ate at the buffet for dinner a couple of nights, and the slection was not that great. They also had to cancel a bunch of our shore excursions in Ketchkan, and they could have done a better job communicating this to us. The shopping talks were heavily geared towards bying jewelry, and I would have liked some additional variety. The shows were excellent.

I was impressed with the decor. Each room on the main and promenade deck was different and gave an overall felling of comfort. My husband was a maintenance man all his life and was very impressed with the upkeep and constant attention to even the smallest detail.

A very average trip.

The cruise was okay. We felt a little rushed during the cruise. They didn't allow enough time to be on port so we were a little rushed once we were done with our excursion. The excursions were expensive and not really worth it in my opinion.

We recently went on the Alaska Cruise and the ship was wonderful. We had a balconey room which I highly recommend for viewing the whales, dolphins and glaciers. This was our first "Big Ship" cruise and we have already decided we are sailing with Carnival again.

The Spirit was very nice. We had a room with a balcony and the only complaint is bathroom was a little too small for comfort. Bed was great and ship was very clean.

Cruise was nice , however it was a small ship. When arriving me and my family was greeted and employee was very polite. Didnt have any problem. Food was good but not much of selection.

why did we not land in Victoria when the wind died down at 9:00 p.m.??? no one on board would answer the phones!

The ship was cool. Very pretty, clean the staff was very freindly the food was good. The casino was bigger then I expected. I just didn't care for the way I was treated by the customer service staff.

I loved the ship and all it had to offer us. There are many many different sections available to your likes. There are quiet areas if you want to be alone, and there are active areas when you want to be with other people. Go on the "Behind the Fun" tour if you have the opportunity to do so and get an inside look at what happens in the areas of the ship you don't get to see as a passenger. It's very interesting to see how a cruise ship is managed and functions behind the scene everyday,.

Right from the planning on through to the end of the cruise the people at Carnival are amazing! There was always something exciting going on aboard the ship and many many things to choose from to do.

This was our 10th years anv , and it will be one we will never forget this was one of the best and we have cruised 3 times

This was my first cruise. I sailed on the Carnival Spirit on the 7 day cruise to Tracey Arm Fjord, with stops in Skagway, Juneau, Ketchican, and Victoria (Vancouver Island). The ship was great. I still can't get over how large these cruise ships are...they are literally floating cities. It was very well maintained and in good repair. Also, it was pretty easy to find good spots for photos and such even during the high demand times. The only real criticism is that it would be nice to have an unlighted area for star gazing at night (well, for the one night out of six when you can actually see stars in that part of the world :) ).

If you're looking for "The Fun Ship" I guess this might be it; but if you're looking for more nature and wildlife exposure, the Spirit is a bit lacking in that. The large ship and passenger load was easier to live with than we expected - they do handle the crowds very well. The food and dining choices were excellent and the service staff was marvelous.

Great way to vacation!

not as friendly as other cruises I've been on.

We recently returned from a cruise to Alaska aboard the Carnival Spirit. What a beautiful ship and friendly staff! The itinerary included spectacular scenery in the Tracy Arm fjord and stops at quaint towns along the way. We would highly recommend this particular cruise.

It is nice that most of the Carnival ships are laid out the same. So since we have been on Carnival before, getting our bearings on where everything was located was very easy.
