Review summary

Overall, my husband and I had a good time. Our room stewards allowed us to keep our towel animals, and even remade one for us when asked. The dining room staff was excellent, even though we did the anytime dining. At the first port of call (Juneau) the debarkation procedure was horrible. We Almost missed our shore excursion because they did a general debarkation call and EVERYONE tryed to get off at the same time. We ate at the buffet for dinner a couple of nights, and the slection was not that great. They also had to cancel a bunch of our shore excursions in Ketchkan, and they could have done a better job communicating this to us. The shopping talks were heavily geared towards bying jewelry, and I would have liked some additional variety. The shows were excellent.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

buffet slection could have been better for dinner. Dining room selections were excellent

Entertainment

They had very few interesting activities, unless you wanted to hear about shopping or play bingo. Talks about cooking, or other info about the things on the ship would have been nice.

Juneau was good. Very little to do after 9PM. Have to do the Red Dog Saloon and Mendenhall Glacier

Cool littel town. Reminds you of Alaska before the cruise ships took over
Don't Miss: Dog sled camp

Not muh to do if they cancel the shore excursions except shop
Don't Miss: Creek street

Pros: our room stewards were awesome, and the dining room staff was exellent

Cons: getting off the ship in port was a nightmare. The food selections for dinner at the buffets could have been better.
