Review summary

I loved the ship and all it had to offer us. There are many many different sections available to your likes. There are quiet areas if you want to be alone, and there are active areas when you want to be with other people. Go on the "Behind the Fun" tour if you have the opportunity to do so and get an inside look at what happens in the areas of the ship you don't get to see as a passenger. It's very interesting to see how a cruise ship is managed and functions behind the scene everyday,.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
If you like food 24/7 then this cruise has it. It's food, food, and more food. Expect to gain at least 10 pounds.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
There are so many things to do on this cruise. Every night you are given a list of the next days activities for you to plan your day around.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
We don't have children, but from what I could see the kids on board were having an excellent time.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone we met on staff was very very friendly and helpful at all times. There are a few exceptional people on staff that we bonded with and were very sorry to part from at the end of the cruise. We were very well taken care of.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This ship is very large almost 1000 feet long and 12 decks high. They kept the ship very clean at all times of the day. The decor is very nice and the show theater on board is a large one.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a VIP stateroom so the quality of the room was very nice. We had a very large bathroom with two sinks which was very convenient. The steward took very good care of us. From what I could see from glancing at the other rooms, most rooms were of ample size and kept very clean.

Ports of call

Ketchikan, Alaska

3 out of 5
Great town, but the ship definitely needs to spend more then just a few hours here.

Juneau, Alaska

3 out of 5
If any port on this trip ever needs to be eliminated due to timing it's this one. It was nice, but it can be skipped.
Don't Miss: Mendenhall Glacier

Victoria, British Columbia

3 out of 5
We were late getting into port here, so we only had a couple hours to see the town at night. The ship should try to schedule a daytime stop here. It looks like a very clean and upscale town, and I was disappointed the cruise was late getting in and not being able to see it in the daylight.
Don't Miss: Downtown area

Skagway, Alaska

3 out of 5

Pros: Our cabin onboard and the food, food, and more food.

Cons: Some of the port stops were too short. A few hours to experience the areas is too short.
