Review summary

Right from the planning on through to the end of the cruise the people at Carnival are amazing! There was always something exciting going on aboard the ship and many many things to choose from to do.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The quality and choice is very good, but food (only sometimes) was not as hot as others.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Tons of stuff to do. The shows put on were great.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone on board the ship was very helpful. It looked liked they were all happy to be there.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The crew is always cleaning.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The size of our room (had a balcony-a must for Alaska!) was surprising. It was much bigger then we thought.

Ports of call

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
WE took the train and it was well worth the time and price. Be sure to try the "spruce tip" beer at the Skagway brewing company.

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
Enjoyed the Lumberjack show. Annabelle's restaurant has the freshest fish I have ever eaten!

Victoria, British Columbia

3 out of 5
The lights at night are beautiful. The downtown is just a short 20 min walk from the ship so no need to spend $$ on a taxi/shuttle. Too bad more of the shops weren't open.

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
The Red Dog Saloon was like stepping back in time! The food/entertainment were good, as were the "refreshments". Enjoyed all the shops. Be sure to use the coupon books!

Pros: The staff could not be more helpful!

Cons: At times the food was not always as hot as other times
