- Make sure you ask for “fresh scrambled eggs” at the MDR breakfast or seaday brunch when ordering scrambled eggs or the port day breakfast. That way you get real eggs instead of the powdered stuff.

Do not be shy in using room service.....they are punctual and service with a smile. Take advantage of the sea day brunch in the Normandie and don't miss the formal dining nights.

Only eat at the Normandy for breakfast and diner. Don't order room service unless you are ordering cereal

I would definitely book one night in the Steakhouse ( we did it on a formal night since you had to dress up any way). There is usually a long line for the pizza and burgers so get there early.

Eat the brunch in the dining room as the food is excellent!! The buffet breakfast leans heavily on bacon swimming in grease and sliced hot dogs masquerading as pork sausage. Also - unless they improve, do not expect a Christmas experience on this ship.

Be wary of anytime dining, as we saw people waiting to be seated on the upper DR level, while the set dining was only 75% or less occupied.

Buffets on Lido deck always a zoo-like feeding frenzy, though you can carry your tray all the way aft to the adults only area to get a bit of peace when you eat. David's is a great retreat from the hubbub at dinner. Spend as little time as possible in the dark, dreary, boraxy common areas.
