Review summary

Overall, we had a wonderful time on the Pride and plan on sailing on her again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
CCL brought in there Baltimore land-based staff and embarkation was fast and the staff were amazing since their day started at 2:00am.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Our documents listed early dinning at 6:00pm, however when we got on board we show it was changed to 5:30pm in the app, which, we liked the change. A lot of people showed up late the first evening. We thought the food in the MDR and buffets were great. We loved the Emeril selections, very tasty. One thing we didn't like was the changes to the Sea Day Brunch. The change the steak and egg offer and were bit disappointed with that change and some of the other selections.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
For our needs it was great!

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the comedy and the musicians on board. We went to one stage shows and the performers were good. However, I miss the live bands for the stage shows.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff were outstanding this includes the sea and land-based staff.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The Pride looks outstanding compared to our last sailing which was prior to the drydock. It appears all the metal railings and balcony doors have been replaced. We love the layout of the Spirit class of ships, very easy to learn and walk.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The stateroom is the standard size for CCL with a balcony. The A/C worked well and had great water pressure. The room was in great shape.

Ship tip

Spirit class offers a lot of space. We often sat on deck 10 aft and no one was around us and it was a short walk to a Bar and food.

Ports of call

Norfolk, Virginia

5 out of 5
We got a hotel 2 minutes away from the port and had a stay and cruise package, so we didn't need to that a bus for parking after the cruise. I don't think it would be 5 stars if we did.

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
The beach was great, and pier was nice.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
Love the beach! Can't wait until a pier is built.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

3 out of 5

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We were off the ship and driving home at 8:15am.

Glad you enjoyed! We were on a RCCL ship that left Baltimore right before the collapse and had to debark in Norfolk. Baltimore staff was wonderful.
