This was our second time on the Pride. We have cruised on Royal Caribbean twelve times. The Pride has a slight edge over the Royal ships we have sailed on.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Although we had FTTF it didn’t seem to get us through the check in any faster. We were in the dedicated line for FTTF but the regular line moved just as quickly.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
I have nothing negative to say about any of the food. The food in the MDR and the buffet is what you would get at a Golden Corral. The Steakhouse was very good and the portions were large. Desserts on the buffet were limited in variety. No pie, rarely any cake, and lacked flavor. There is no bread bar. Breakfast never offered any donuts.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There were plenty of activities daily to keep busy.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The ship singers and dancers were very good. Eighties show was super. The comedian was poor.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Our stateroom attendant was great!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I was impressed on how clean the common areas were kept. I would say that the dark motif of the ship is rather outdated. I liked the fact that there are many areas with large windows to watch the ocean. The eating areas on the Lido deck are well spaced and there is plenty of seating.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We loved our cabin; very spacious. It was an extended balcony that measured ten foot by five foot.
Ship tip
Try to attend as many of the activities as you can. You will enjoy your time!
