I will not be using Carnival ever again. This was my fifth and last. They do not value their customers and customer service is not a priority . You get what you pay for. I cruise other lines anyway so I will be back on them. To many issues with Carnival.

This is the 3rd time on the Pride. we have taken it for the convenience of the Baltimore port. Have been on many other cruises out of Florida n europe. this is def our last trip on the Pride in March....3 days were freezing and not excited about visiting the Bahamas again.

I would not sail on this ship again.

Bring an extension cord if you have a CPAP machine

Eat in the dining rooms... the buffets are full, messy and crowded. Use room service. They are quick and cheerful. The spa is great (ask for Roster) The game room is full of games and puzzles; the library full of new good books

Go to entertainment venues.

Don’t focus on what may be a hiccup in your trip. Make the best of it and remember you are on vacation!!

Utilize the Carnival Hub it is wonderful and gives you more details about the activities.

If I had to give someone any advice who's about to cruise on this ship it would be don't over pack I had way too much stuff because of leaving Baltimore in the cold and heading to the warm I wasn't sure on what to expect weather wise. One day out of Baltimore I was in shorts the rest of the week or my bathing suit and flip-flops. Try something new eat something you've never tried before because if you don't like it you already paid for your cruise in advance you can order something else. Eat lots of pizza and ice cream go to the shows be polite to people guest and workers and those who treat you exceptionally well give them a little extra tip and let them know you're thankful for them making your Carnival vacation worth it.

GO TO EVERYTHING SAFFY DOES. She makes the entire experience!

If you want to go to the Serenity deck, go early to get a cabana...they are grabbed pretty quickly.

I would suggest to bring a water bottle to fill up as needed. I would also suggest booking your excursion through Carnival because if there there was a delay in your excursion Carnival will not leave you behind, but if you booked through another party, they will.

Magnetic hooks: They do no damage to the walls but increase your hanging potential by a factor of 10.

The Carnival Pride makes for an excellent "first time cruise". My reasoning is that if you haven't been on a cruise before you will not be comparing the Pride being an older ship, to any of the newer and larger ships you will see at your ports-of-call. The ship is a bit older and in need of updating but nothing so severe that it takes away from the fun you will have on board. Second reason the Pride is good for a first time cruise is that it's size is very manageable and you won't feel overwhelmed. Lastly, the crew is super fantastic and I truly believe they are what makes the Pride an excellent ship!

If you are a drinker the cheers package is definitely worth getting!

Definitely get a balcony even if it is obstructed.
