Review summary

I am planning on bringing my kids the next time we cruise!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Our embarkation was very easy. We had a small line to wait in when we arrived but the line went quickly. I highly suggest selecting a time to embark.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Everything was wonderful. The restaurant was excellent and the servers were excellent as well! The buffet was wonderful as well and the burgers and pizza were the best!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Best pizza ever! Always a line after the comedy show!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I really enjoyed the ginger lime scrub for couples. Very professional and easy to talk to. I also had a facial done with Molly and she was excellent! If you have never had either one, then definitely get one on the Carnival Pride.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service and staff were the tops!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was clean and well maintained at all times.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was comfortable. Even when we had some water coming in, the staff immediately took care of the situation and even offered a discount on our tab.

Ship tip

I would suggest to bring a water bottle to fill up as needed. I would also suggest booking your excursion through Carnival because if there there was a delay in your excursion Carnival will not leave you behind, but if you booked through another party, they will.

Ports of call

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
My husband and I snorkeled and it was the best! We brought out own equipment and saw all kinds of fish and coral. We even saw a flounder!

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Nassua was beautiful and I wish we had more time to explore the island. We did the dolphin encounter and it was an unforgettable experience.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

5 out of 5
We did the Garden of Groves tour and we really lucked out with a wonderful bus driver! His nickname was Teddybear. He told us all the history about the island while we were riding and returning from the gardens. The gardens were very nice as well, we even saw some hummingbirds. After the garden we stopped at a straw market and did some shopping then returned with plenty of time.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Although we were last to get off the ship, the process was very organized. It was quite boring waiting so I would suggest a deck of cards or something to keep you occupied for a couple of hours.
