Avoid getting to the port early. They will not be ready and you will sit and wait. We got there about 1:30 and were on the ship by 2:00. People that got there after us had even less of a wait.

When we were waiting to leave the ship in Maryland, the announcements were not heard on the 3rd deck were we were waiting. When I asked Steve the cruise director if they called any decks, he was rude. He said that it was on the emergency PA and it had to have been heard.

If you are bringing elderly people with you - bring your own assistance devices. If you are also bringing children make sure they bring a friend! Finally, make sure you prepare yourself for rude and greedy passengers, as well as be ready to fight for pool lounge chairs - early birds get the worms!

Be careful with some of the bargains like the Invicta watches because they may not be that great. Price compare when you have service first!
