The outdoor parts of the Lido deck where the pools are can be positively treacherous!! If you use crutches or a cane, avoid this area, even when the pools are closed. The floors are always wet and extremely slippery. We saw a woman fall down hard before the ship left the dock! Be careful!

At the Normandie restaurant, the line was short for breakfast and the service was quick. The quality of the breakfast food was much better than on the Lido Deck.

Go to the dining room for dinner. The food is better. There isn't enough time in Freeport except to go to the marketplace and buy gifts. The Marketplace is OK but the shop owners harass you to buy from them which is annoying. You may not want to take young children to the variety shows because some of the costumes are inappropriate for them.

Availability of eateries is most attractive. Casual dining at the Lido or 6 decks below in the formal dining room gives one a choice not found in even the fanciest resorts. The lido is open most of the day with only small intervals to change the type of fare. I still taste the petit Danish roll availabe in the morning. There were 2674 passengers on the Pride. Asuuming that each passenger had only 2 rolls A MATEMATICIAN WOULD AGREE THE SHIP HAD TO CARRY AT LEAST 35,000 REOLLS. cAN YOU IMAGINE THE NUMBER OF LOBSTER TAILS SALMON FILET, CHEESE CAKES , BREADS FOR ALL TASTES, AND ,MY FAVORITE ,ICE CREAM

Normandy dining was slow, food was pretty but lacked flavor. Steaks at David lacked flavor, were cook on a grill that was too hot so part of the outside was burnt. Freeport excursion are over crowded and over priced and crowded.

I THINK THAT MORE OF THE SLOTS SHOULD BE UP DATED. I SAW ONE PERSON WIN MONEY. I CAN'T BELEIVE THE MONEY I LOST.

I only wish that I had not watched so many Youtube videos of the ship before going - kind of spoiled some of the surprise. Chances are, most of the videos of the Pride are before the renovation, but nonetheless just don't overdo it if you're a first time cruiser like me.

I thought it was very easy to get around on this ship. We have been on larger ships and you could get turned around very easily. My husband has a hard time walking so we rented a scooter which made easier for him and the staff on the ship were very helpful.

Dont go to the pool area at 1030 and expect to get the perfect spot by the pool. They fill up pretty quick but if you get out there before 9 you should get a nice spot.
