Review summary
My cruise on the Carnival Pride on the August 18, 2013 voyage to Florida and the Bahamas was a wonderful trip. Traveling with my wife and two boys ages 15 and 12 we had a great cruise experience. Being a veteran cruiser and this being our 2nd time on the Carnival Pride we were impressed with the cleanliness and updated Pride. We had my wife's parents and sister and brother-in-law with there two girls ages 16 and 11 traveling with us and they too had a great time. The activities, the ports of call and the excursion all were top notch. The food overall was above average and the service was superb. The only negative was the pool deck was crowded and the lounge chairs were jammed in and hard to get access too. The pizzeria and the deli in the Lido buffet were excellent and there was never a line. The Pride seemed to be spruced up since our last voyage. The production shows were top notch and the comedy club which was in the bufferflies lounge mostly every night was a great added feature. The only negative with the shows was one night they had a singer that was suppose to be from the motown era but his voice and show were below average. I would recommend this ship and cruise for a fun filled vacation.Ship experiences
