My cruise on the Carnival Pride on the August 18, 2013 voyage to Florida and the Bahamas was a wonderful trip. Traveling with my wife and two boys ages 15 and 12 we had a great cruise experience. Being a veteran cruiser and this being our 2nd time on the Carnival Pride we were impressed with the cleanliness and updated Pride. We had my wife's parents and sister and brother-in-law with there two girls ages 16 and 11 traveling with us and they too had a great time. The activities, the ports of call and the excursion all were top notch. The food overall was above average and the service was superb. The only negative was the pool deck was crowded and the lounge chairs were jammed in and hard to get access too. The pizzeria and the deli in the Lido buffet were excellent and there was never a line. The Pride seemed to be spruced up since our last voyage. The production shows were top notch and the comedy club which was in the bufferflies lounge mostly every night was a great added feature. The only negative with the shows was one night they had a singer that was suppose to be from the motown era but his voice and show were below average. I would recommend this ship and cruise for a fun filled vacation.
Ship Quality
Seems like the Pride was recently spruced up. It was in great condition.
Food and Dining
Food was above average and the service was superb. The pizzeria and deli at the lido buffet were top notch and never a line.
Cabin / Stateroom
I had an interior stateroom that was comfortable and adequate for my family of four.
Service and Staff
Staff and service was superb.
Plenty of entertainment and activities to please everybody.
Children's Programs My kids did not use the children's program.
Onboard Activities
Plenty to choose from.
Destinations and Excursions
The ports of call were good and the excursions excellent. We went to Universal Studios and the Atlantis and hit the beach in Grand Bahama Island. All were outstanding. We could have used a little more time in Grand Bahama Island.
Baltimore, Maryland
Easy parking and check in and embarkation very smooth.
Port Canaveral, Florida
Took the excursion to Universal. They got us there early so were able to get on all the rides without long waits.
Nassau, Bahamas
Took the excursion to the Atlantis and it was spectacular.
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
Went to the beach in Lucaya. Could have used a little more time there. Had to be back on the ship by 1 pm.

All aspects of the ship were excellent. There was never a line to wait on and the service was superb.
