To spend a week away with three days at Sea, very sad that we missed Puerto Vallarta. Loved the ship and staff -many good memories. Will have to get to Puerto some other way.

Just OK by DKA

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

We had fun on the cruise but the ship was old and needed updating. As stated above, we had some issues w/the cabin when checking in and as stated above the food was not up to par for a cruise. Nothing stood out as delicious or fantastic, the variety was not where it should be and the availability was not great. Room service was only a few options of a sandwich or veggies and the rest you had to pay for which was unheard of.

Disappointing cruise, I really wanted to visit Puerto Vallarta and this port was cancelled. by Racelady88

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

I have been on 3 cruises and this was the worst. I don't feel there was enough to do, I was disappointed in the food and the overall experience was not what I expected. I wanted so bad to enjoy this, as I wanted to take more cruises out of Long Beach CA. I live in Arizona and was hoping that the Carnival Miracle would be a great experience since I can get to the Long Beach Port by car. I would have to think long and hard about trying Carnival again.

It Was An Okay Cruise by rpslaw48

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

It was okay and my grandsons loved it. While it is not a trip I would choose for myself, it worked as a family trip with my son, his wife and two boys, ages 5 and 4.

A Cruise to remember! by Pjpatel

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

Definitely recommend to friends! Also we will select again in future as well! Few suggestions: : Need some more shows and entertainment! Particularly, when there are two days and nights of sea days! Swimming pools are very small! We felt that only two ports of visits were not the value for the cruise! ! But we understand security and feasibility EA are also important!

Amazing Mexican Adventure by MJCatsea

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

I had a wonderful time on my very first cruise. The Carnival Miracle was just the right size ship with just the right amount of people. It wasn't overwhelming but they were always plenty of things to do.

Great Job Carnival by hurstwd19827413

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

Overall e joyed the cruise and the staff, time for newer ship, found Miracle boring. Serenity area is just plain gross, not much else going on that interested us. Quite a few kids and a general lack of supervision by parents. No fun when on elevators not once, twice but three times when ice cream cones were intentionally smashed on floor and all buttons pressed for each floor.

Great Cruise to Mexico! by ColoradoSix

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

This was a great cruise all around! We will consider the Miracle again in the future, and even prefer it over the larger Magic. The crew is very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this cruise!

Poor service experience!!!! by jaqt2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

they just need to warn people of what to expect, what are you buying and whats there still for sell inside the boat. Don't get me wrong but just they need to be more consensus of tell the truth. Tickets are not cheap at all and you expect a good experience.

Wonderful Mexican Riviera Cruse by edmatthewsrsm

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

Enjoyed this cruise and will be considering taking future cruises to other areas. This provided a way to have a room and all food plus opportunity to visit different cities. We meet individuals who have taken many cruises and they shared their experiences (all positive). We are planning to take future cruises to visit other areas.

Last Carnival Cruise by allanwood10

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

We have been on 10 cruises of which 3 were Carnival and this was the worst ship of them all. Very disappointed that Carnival has reduced the cabin cleaning to one a day - no evening turndown - very sad. Production shows just had "canned music". Watching someone pretending to play a piano is not a talent. Obviously Carnival is in a race to the bottom of the cruise industry - and they're winning!

Fun Cruise despite problems by sdsusie60

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

My favorite part of the cruise was dinner each night at the Baccus Diningroom.  The service was wonderful & some of the food was really good.  We did encounter some problems on the cruise:  The Miracle ship must be very old because there was a strange vibration going on, in several areas. It was especially bad while trying to sleep. Ive been on other Carnival cruises and this never happened before.

The Faster to the Fun pkg was not worth the money at all. I purchased it for all 3 cabins that our family had. It wasnt needed for embarkation - wasnt crowded. Debarkation was awful because we were in a very slow line getting off the ship. The other perks we were supposed to get, didnt happen at all. Private phone # for

assistance from cabin, priority in dining room and........our luggage did not get to our cabins for several hours. Not happy about that. For suggestions, I think the room service menu should have more choices and in between meals there should be more than pizza and ice cream. Our family had a great time anyway, enjoying eachothers company. I will not sail on the Carnival Miracle again.

Relaxing Cruise to/from Mexican Riviera Carnival Miracle by blackwd

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

We enjoy the sea days more than the ports, so our impressions reflect this preference. We have traveled on this same itinerary or a variation of it over 30 times. West coast cruising fits our needs anytime of year since we live in Utah. We have tried cruises out of Florida to the Caribbean but enjoy the Pacific most of all.

This was a typical cruise down the Baja, where the first and last days were too cool to spend much time on the balcony. We have been spoiled on previous cruises with warm weather the entire trip. The older ship Miracle does not offer all the options we enjoy on the Splendor (returning to west coast next year) or on most of the Princess ships. Otherwise the weather was great and the ocean was smooth as glass especially on the return to Long Beach.

With Princess putting all their ships on Alaska itineraries Carnival is the only option for us in the summer. Otherwise we would stick with Princess.

The staff on the Miracle were friendly and provided great service. Especially impressed with our cabin attendant "Made". Quite a few activities but we preferred our balcony or a quiet spot on the deck to read and enjoy the views. Tried Serenity but the cushions they use were disgusting (although better than last year) with stains on them and in need of a serious cleaning. This is where Sanctuary on Princess is far and above superior although it comes with a cost it is well worth it.

The food was good and service adequate in the MDR, we only utilized dining options on Lido a couple times. The sea day brunch is great kudos to Carnival on this offering. Enjoyed the Steak House great meal with a huge Cheese Cake dessert that was impressive. Even with over 6 hours of exercise in the gym or walking deck 10 I still gained 5 lbs which I attribute to Carnivals Chocalate Melting Cake. Embarkation and debarkation with our Platinum status is a breeze and we feel better than Princess. Entertainment was ok nothing like Carlos Oscar or Steve Morris on Princess.
