Review summary

I will be cruising other ships unfortunately. this time was a real disappointment with almost everything. shows, dinner time seating, nothing really exciting to do on board, sad...

Embarkation

5 out of 5
it was nice and organized

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
don't like the new "no tablecloth" setting. Our dining experience for "mytime" was a disaster. Food was mixed up and always missing; we never got seated without having to wait 45 or more minutes.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
there was nothing to do; shows were idiotic and sparse; what happened????

Entertainment

1 out of 5
really bad

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
not much in this department either

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
people working there were nice except for the excursion desk; very rude

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
it was ok

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
was fine

Ship tip

will not be tempted to cruise Carnival again; pizza was the only thing that deserved a plus. very disappointing

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

4 out of 5
we love long beach

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

4 out of 5
beautiful, but should have had more excursion availability for the camel rides.

Mazatlan, Mexico

4 out of 5
was ok, but not so clean

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
this was best port

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
easy peasy

and I could care less how big there boats r. It's all about the quality of entertainment and it's venues

RC doesn't even have its own comedy club. There's usually one act that plays in the main theater and that's it. Carnival's entertainment itinerary is way more loaded then RC.

yeah go to RC where that cruise line is way more boring then Carnival. Many people say RC is a step up but I call BS on that. Looking forward to the Miracle come Saturday

Been on the Miracle twice. Loved it both times. If you can't find something to do, that's on you.

Try one of the larger ships next time; you will find more things to do and places to go.

Most ships have small deck areas on certain levels on the front. They are generally accessed from a door at the end of a cabin passageway. Not really hidden, just many don't know they are there.

I've traveled on the Miracle before and enjoyed it a lot. 🐳🐳

what is a hidden deck? I have seen this referenced before

When you say nothing really exciting to do, what do you mean? are you one to catch up on a good read, play card games, venture around the ship and find hidden decks, participate in the canin crawl to see what other cabins look like, decorate your door, watch movies under the stars or workout in spa? just curious as we create our fun because we arent drinkers or gamblers but always have fun!

I guess that's why they sell drink packages.
