We had a great time on the cruise, some comments below... 1. Would like better communication. The Magic had it's incident in Jamaica days before our departure. It was very concerning for us. We did not get one communication from Carnival stating that all was well with the ship. 2. We're in our 60's. This was our first trip. Restrooms were hard to find. Need better signs/directions to restrooms. 3. We bought the drink package (wife and I). We attended the Superbowl in the Magic theatre. I got up to get drinks at the Atrium bar for my wife and I using my card and her card. No problem. Next time I went to get drinks, different bartender. He would not serve drinks stating that both parties had to be present to give drinks. I got disturbed because the other bartender that served us drinks was standing right there. This bartender was the only bartender on the entire trip to not honor the drink cards. This caused me anxiety for the remainder of the trip (8 nights) and I never went to the Atrium bar again. Point being, if you have a policy it needs to be 100% enforced or 0% enforced, if not you're just pissing off customers. Shout out to Alisha and Jason at the Red Frog Pub, they were great! Also, Darma at the Iguana bar was fantastic also!

Overall wonderful cruise and friendly staff. Good food, wonderful ports of call

Everything went very smoothly and we enjoyed our first cruise

It was decent. Wish there would have been less lines to eat and do things. Elevator wait times were horrendous as well.

Stateroom was adequate size, musty smell. Gift shops overpriced. Bartenders rude. Port cancelation was a huge disappointment. Buffets were closed at the times we wanted to eat lunch, and selection was limited. 18% Gratuities were added automatically to all spa services, whether they deserved them or not. On the upside, waiters in dining room were very friendly, paid great attention to food allergies, food orders where always correct. Room steward was very helpful and kind. Not a great first impression for my daughters first cruise.

Overall, it was a nice time. Few hiccups along the way but I would definitely recommend this cruise and cruise line to friends.

We were a group of 8 and everything was great. Our servers at dinner were so attentive and provided supreme surface. Great ports with a lot of fun and opportunities for relaxing.

Carnival provides us with the vacation we need once a year, hopefully! Food, ship, service, entertainment are all perfect for us at a reasonable price….13 cruises and counting!

My husband and I went for a New Years cruise. Was different going with just him and I as we don't do many trips alone. Normally take grandkids or go with a group. So it was more of relaxing cruise for us. new years was great and the eptic celebration of it. I told family and friends we need to all do one together.

I summed it up in each block. I gave the overall rating a C-

The cruise was fun, I had a great time with my family. The crew on the ship goes out of their way to please and entertain you. The excursions could use some improvement with the exception of Waterfalls Of Damajagua - Adrenaline Adventure, that was outstanding. The cruse ship provides all of the makings for a fantastic time, it's up to you and who you go with to take advantage of everything there is to do.

The teen club was the highlight of this trip! If you have teens, they will enjoy the teen club on Carnival Magic if they are social. There's a sound box to jam to your favorite songs (Unless the song is restricted). There is bracelet making which was the big hit. There was lots of games u can play. Many friends to make and talk to. Every day I couldn't wait until 8:30 pm, which was the time the teen club opened. I enjoyed all our ventures around the ship just enjoying eachother company and the activities such as putt putt golf, or the ropes course. The saddest part was having to say goodbye to everyone and to this day I think about how fun this cruise was.

Not a great selection on the buffet. The lines were so long to eat anywhere. The ship was nice we enjoyed it. All the staff was very professional. Some of the shows were exceptional.

They should hire a new cruise director who could turn all their entertainment activities into a magical ones. And hire a better chef to make delicious foods. Train your housekeeping dept better to do a great job not sloppy. Also train your dining staff to be more friendly & sociable- meaning talk to their customers more instead of just standing on a corner. Also fine dining entertainment sucks too coz they’re wearing the same costume everytime-ugh just like the buffet food-always the same every day

Cruise was fine agent sucked. They take every payment automatically except the last payment and if you miss it like I did because I was out of the country with no Wi-Fi they cancel your reservation making you to rebook at a higher price, worst rooms and lose your perks. When you have a family vacation for 11 planning on it you rebook. I called the agent Sal twice and he never returned my call. It just seems to me it’s a little unethical to do business like this. I will never use or any of there sister sites again and I will inform my family and friends how they treat you.

Not my favorite ship. It's old and need work. Our carpet was wet and it had to be cleaned up and loud fan placed in our cabin to dry it out.

All in all, a fun time. We just aren't fans of smaller ships.

This was my first cruise and our twenty year anniversary. At this time I really am hesitant to take another cruise do to my concerns over safety.

Met vey nice people at my table and throughout the ship.. My cruise ports were not as expected. Good and entertainment were very good. Excellent wait staff. Hated the elevator situation though out ship.

The North Atlantic, Maine and Canada, cruise was amazing. Although there were some rough seas, the overall experience was wonderful and worth every penny.
