Q: Is parking at Port Miami a nightmare or would you recommend it? Trying to alleviate stress, not add to it. I would consider the price reasonable IF my vehicle stays safe AND it's not an absolute hassle to get in and out of the parking garage. Opinions?

A: I live in Miami, but still park at the port when cruising. Have not had any problems with parking, or with vandalism.

A: Vegetarian options are at every eatery, but true vegan offerings are hard to come by because many vegetable based dishes have animal kingdom by products in their preparation. Even the hidden Indian Menu (family style) has many items made with honey o... r dairy ingredients.See More

A: From a non-vegan’s perspective, plenty. From a vegan’s perspective, prepare to be outraged.
Answered by HarryMess on November 25, 2023
A: There are lots of choices on the buffet. They do have vegan dishes in the dining room. The ones I tried were not fantastic. That's just me though.

Q: Hello, we are cruising 11/26 we are looking at a shore excursion for our daughter for swimming with the dolphins. is there a certain one that you would recommend? Also, would we be able to watch her swim with the dolphins without buying the excursion for everyone in our group? Or is there a pass we can buy to be able to watch. I just don’t want to send her off on her own. Thank you.

A: The park referenced by a previous poster is Ocean World.
Answered by jeffreyschill on November 21, 2023
A: Everything I have read states that the excursion must be purchased by all.
Answered by MommaMia426 on November 20, 2023
A: Not sure if still offered Amber Cove, but a marine adventure park (don't remember name) about a 30 minute drive from port that has dolphin programs. All going to the park would need to pay the reg admission $, & if under 12 an adult must be with her... in the water during interaction. Otherwise neither of your 2 other ports have a dolphin anything to even look at.See More
Answered by maryred on November 20, 2023
A: if you purchase the excursion through the ship, everyone going must also purchase the excursion! Otherwise you can go on your own and then you only have to pay for whoever is swimming!

Q: On our cruise, the Carnival Magic ,we’ll be visiting San Juan, Amber Cove, Grand Turk. Are there clean, safe beaches that are easy access from the port to swim and snorkel? Can you walk or do you need public transportation? Thanks

A: San Juan is very safe and walkable. It’s not a beach port imo. Amber cove has a beach that can be see from the ship. It looks super close to the port but it actually takes about 20 minutes to walk there. If you stay around this area from my exper... ience it’s friendly and safe. Grand Turk has one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen. Walk off the ship down the pier and turn left..See More
