Review summary

Not a great selection on the buffet. The lines were so long to eat anywhere. The ship was nice we enjoyed it. All the staff was very professional. Some of the shows were exceptional.

Lines were ridiculous. 30 min to get a piece of pizza. Buffet lines were 20 to 45 minutes every day and night. Lines to eat we're always long. Most of the food was pretty good once you could get it!.

I rated it poor because it was right over the theater and the room vibrated and you could hear the singing in the room and you couldn't nap and you couldn't go to sleep until 10:30 at night when the shows were over.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

Carnival botched this port up by not getting everyone off of the ship until after 1:00 in the afternoon and we had to be back on by 3:30. The buffet closed at 1:00 and a lot of people couldn't even eat at it.

Grand Turk Island

Nothing on this island to really see at all. The Port is very nice where they have the shots and the margaritaville. Nice beach.

Appreciate your detailed feedback. Agree with the others regarding your cabin location. Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations. Glad you have a cruise line that fits your needs.

Food and dining comments were accurate. However, the Main Dining Room was good for all meals especially the Seaday Brunch. My complaint about CCL was having to use the app to make reservations for the my time dining option. With that being said only 3 problems (✅)with making reservations over the cruise and the reservation system is much better than the chaos on RCI for my time dining especially on the first night. Endless lines for food are the biggest reason I generally prefer RCI over CCL. The Windjammer has a much better selection set up over several stations. Many venues are fast casual with a small charge so no line, just be seated and place your order (varies by venue).

if you picked the room, it's your fault you were over the theater, not carnival's. if you let the cruise line pick the room, you get what's left over and usually the rooms that nobody wants for certain reasons... again that's YOUR fault for choosing that rate, not carnival's. lines are on every line and every ship for the buffet just like you would see on land at Golden corral
