They should hire a new cruise director who could turn all their entertainment activities into a magical ones. And hire a better chef to make delicious foods. Train your housekeeping dept better to do a great job not sloppy. Also train your dining staff to be more friendly & sociable- meaning talk to their customers more instead of just standing on a corner. Also fine dining entertainment sucks too coz they’re wearing the same costume everytime-ugh just like the buffet food-always the same every day

Service and Staff

Housekeeper is horrible- he put a stained comforter on the bunk bed, don’t changed dirty sheets everyday-he’ll just flip flop the pillowcases…fine dining waiters don’t have social skills, maitre’de has don’t care attitude coz when I told him about their horrible food, he just sarcastically laughed & told us that he’ll bring the chef the following night which never happened. Buffet food is always the same everyday, yikes 😳 & staff are not really friendly & helpful especially in the buffet dining.

Cabin / Stateroom

I guess it’s ok other than the terrible housekeeping service. Also the towels are so worn out, they could have given us new towels especially with the amount of money we paid for that small space of cabin
No excursion but it’s full of drama going out coz they told everyone that tickets to go out are only limited. So what’s the sense of paying the port charges there if you can’t go out .
No issue at all with staff but with fellow passengers who ignorantly stood at the end of the escalator knowing that more people behind them with luggage’s so it creates a little chaos
After 85 cruises with Carnival. , and more than 600 sea days , all ships might have a small inconvenience , but still love the Magic , sounds like you need to stay home !
SMH at this review. No hotel changes sheets every day unless you are experiencing incontinence or vomiting daily. Otherwise they make up your bed and exchange towels. Full teardown cabin service is on turnaround day.
Carnivals entertainment programs are 30-40 minutes long. If you want full length production shows, choose another line.
So much hate in OPs review, they should never have gone on CCL or probably anywhere else in the first place. Maybe they'd be happier on Disney, Seabourn or Azamara.
It's amazing how some people complain that hotels and criuse ships don't change out their linens daily. But very few change out their own sheets on their own beds daily at home. Amazing, now by all means, if something happens and they need to be changed, you should demand it. But all those suggestions you make, why don't you apply for the job. Some people don't want to be bothered when eating. My wife and I was yelled and cursed at when trying to be friendly with a couple sitting next to us in the buffet. So put that so, call entitled attitude away and enjoy what's in front of you family, friends and love ones. Life is short, Live, Love, and Laugh.
Ho hum. Another cruiser expecting a 5 star luxury cruise at a bargain basement price, and makes a new Shipmates account to complain about a cruise not meeting their unrealistic expectations. Yawn ...
I hope your next cruise or other vacation choice is more enjoyable for you.
We have cruised on the Magic twice and it is our favorite ship and we have had great experiences each time.

Just got off the Magic, had a wonderful experience with the best room steward, Chelsie! There were unlimited options of places to eat. And the staff were always friendly, and always cleaning. I'm sorry, but it seems like you just look for reasons to complain.
Hmmmm...so many on the same cruise absolutely loved everything you complained about. Is it possible you were determined to find everything wrong and that staff avoided interacting with you because they could catch your vibe from a distance? Please please please cruise with another line if you cruise again.
