My husband and I have done about 20+ cruises, including others on Carnival. This particular cruise was the worst we've ever done. When you go on a cruise you expect to do many different activities, to have great food, and probably gain a few pounds in the process. This did NOT happen. We spent a lot of our time in the casino because there wasn't much to do.

This is only the second time we cruised with Carnival. We have always cruised on ships that were much smaller. We worried about having 1000 more guests on board than we were used to and many more kids.What we found was that if you book a cruise when the kids are in school the 1000 extra adult guests aren't a problem and Carnival looks after its guests very well and the ship does not seem crowded at all.

I would not take this cruise again unless many changes were done to docking locations on board cleanliness and service improved I also feel too many activities and give always only for elite I realize they may spend more but when you are first starting out what's the incentive?

This was our first cruise. Great experience. Everything was taken care of. Food was great. Crew was wonderful. Lots of activities to take part in. Beautiful Alaska. Arrangements by our agent made it easy.

Great Alaskan Cruise with wonderful weather. Had time to rest, enjoy entertainment, and good food. Lot of time spent relaxing in room and eating breakfast in room, lunch and supper in dining room.

Fun... But probably would prefer all inclusive in Mexico... Lots of extra costs... But very fun experience. Would be easier if traveling with people of the same age groups... Hard to keep kids, teens, young adults, and elderly adults all happy and relatively together.

This is a wonderful cruise for all ages. If you would like to see beautiful landscape and animals up close and personal without a cage or fence, then this is the cruise for you. Anyone who enjoys the outdoors, wildlife photography etc. it's a must-do. I highly recommend the Alaska cruise. If I get another chance, I will go again.

Carnival Legend was nice, but it had some wear and tear, however the crew was excellent. Had obstructed view balcony which was perfect for whale watching. Food was typical Carnival, average fare, the specialty steak restaurant was pricey but excellent. Sports bar concept needs work, comedy club was excellent.

It is a nice cruise. We enjoy all the activities, food and services from most of the staffs. All the public area of the ship are cleaned. The state room need upgrade though. Worn out furniture, bed and decorations.

Loved the cruise, loved the shows, enjoyed every day of the trip. Well worth the money to invest in off shore excursions. We traveled with another couple. Would like to take another cruise in the future with our adult children and spouses. Think it would be a blast!

Getting on and off the ship was so incredibly fast and easy. We were treated like royalty on the ship by everyone. This cruise provided breathtaking scenery, educational excursions and an awesome crew. We will definitely go back!

This trip was a bucket-list item for us. It was an expensive venture, but worth every penny spent. I cannot wait to do it again! Our balcony was nice, but you can have a great time with an interior room and save your money for excursions. Get a seat early for Glacier Bay in the covered dome room and you will be plenty warm.

Price to high for what you offer, offer more entertainment other than comedians. Why is there a water slide on a ship on an Alaskan cruise it was never open. More varied activities needed.

This was my first cruise ever and the experience was great! I'm looking forward to my next adventure wherever that may be. The staff treated us great.

We enjoyed the friendliness of the crew and the other passengers. The ship was very clean and the food excellent. Our steward was always there to provide anything we needed and kept our room "shipshape"!

Maybe a bit unfair rating in some ways given this was our first cruise. We wanted to see Alaska and seemed like the best way to see it given the remoteness. We know going in we were likely not 'cruise people' and it was confirmed. It was not that it was terrible. it is just not for us. That said we did have a good time, great service, and some great times with our grand daughter. I very much enjoyed the sailing part, seeing the amazing nature, seeing marine life, and that part of it. So we put the balcony to great use and it was a chance for quiet away from the noise of the ship. It felt to us a bit like a Las Vegas Casino on the water which is not our thing. But the plus is the ship has great people. The entire crew were friendly and helpful which offset some concerns.

The view was spectacular the entire trip and I would recommend a balcony, makes the room seem bigger.  I suggest an outlet in the bathroom and a better hair dryer.  The ac wasn't the greatest but overall it was not too bad.

 This was our 3rd Carnival cruise and we enjoyed so much! As I live in FL, I enjoyed cold weather there. We enjoyed Skagway, Juneau, Tracy Arm Fjord and Ketchikan! But we did not enjoy Victoria.  When we arrived there it was 8pm, only had 3 hours (needed to use a bus to go to the city), but all the stores except a few souvenir shops and bars were closed.  We enjoyed the food and gained 8-10 pounds! The shows were great!

The best part of the cruise was the people serving you. All were extremely nice and attentive. There is always obe exception. We dis have a poor experience with an employee in the casino. The manager was notified of the situation, but never followed up with is on the outcome. Thats one of the biggest disappointments of the cruise. The ship was decent. The shower in the room was old and the floor sticky, and it didn't appear that they clean the top portion of the shower. The ship is definitely dated and could use some upgrading. The Spa was rediculously expensive as was anything outside of your purchased package. I feel you pay that amout to float on a dated boat, the rest should be priced a little more economically. $119/person for internet for 7 days, each alcholic drink $10 or more. Photos $14/each. Its just really overpriced. We didn't really feel the time spent at port was sufficient for certain stops. But overall it was okay. Probably will try a different cruiseline the next time. 

The customer services was very friendly. The food was just okay, needs some improvements. My complain was that the one of the wheels on our luggage was broken when it was delivered to us to our room and we complained to the customer service desk. She was nice and seem like she wanted to help. She checked the luggage and stated that since it's one of the outside wheels, we can still roll it back to California and have it fix, then sent them the bill. I don't even know how to go about having it fix, nor if it's worth it. Also they broke the built-in lock on my mom's luggage but I didn't make a fuss because they probably not going to offer anything anyway. That left a bad feeling for us through out our trip and we had a hard time bring our 3-wheeled luggage home. We are just going to throw our luggage away. I usually book our cruises with Carnival but I think we will consider other cruise lines from now on.
