Review summary

Loved the cruise, loved the shows, enjoyed every day of the trip. Well worth the money to invest in off shore excursions. We traveled with another couple. Would like to take another cruise in the future with our adult children and spouses. Think it would be a blast!

Ship tip

If flying in to Seattle and you have a day or two before the cruise be aware that the light rail line (subway) comes right into the airport. You can get downtown for $3.00 per person and if you stay in town you can taxi or Uber to Pier 91 the morning of your cruise.

Ports of call

Visited with a local resident who took us around the city and enjoyed lovely lunch down by the Pier. Saw the Space Needle and before flying home after the cruise visited the Klondike National Museum and attended a baseball game at Safeco field.

Skagway, Alaska

Took an excursion by bus up to the pass. Very educational and enjoyable. Learned much about the town.

Juneau, Alaska

Rainy day but not too cold. Took an excursion up to Mendenhall glacier and enjoyed the Visitor's center.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Facinating place, wish we had more time. Only had for about 5 hours but there seemed to be much more to explore than we had time for. Took a tour of the city and up to the Indian Village. Not what I expected but because our time was so short we could see everything we wanted to see.

Victoria, British Columbia

Our time was scheduled for 4 hours in port but due to a delay we only had about 3 hours. Enough time to grab a cab into the city and walk around. Found our favorite Canadian chocolate bars and stocked. Wish they had a good bakery open for authentic Nanaimo Bars (available at the local grocery stores but not downtown). Not enough time to visit the gardens as it got dark shortly after we arrived.
