Review summary

Price to high for what you offer, offer more entertainment other than comedians. Why is there a water slide on a ship on an Alaskan cruise it was never open. More varied activities needed.

We cruised there in July many years ago. We were told to bring everything from swim suits to coats. Anchorage was in the 80s and LOTS of lightness. The glaciers are the world's biggest refrigerators.

GIL155, you'd be surprised that in July/August Alaska can be in the mid to upper 70s...

Let us know what cruise you've done before must have been a row boat to beat the prices of carnival

Legend sales out of Sydney Australia during Australia's summer months and the water slides get used a lot, but they are closed when it's windy. As far as I'm concerned Carnival cruises are very good value for money, although we don't get the alcoholic drinks package in Australia, but the food, entertainment and crew are always excellent.

I just got off the Legend yesterday and the water slide was open most of the times I was walking by it.

We're on the legend April 18 Australia Tahiti and etc then onto Honolulu doing the Hawaiian islands then onto Vancouver so I think the water slide will be used a lot ....

lol - water slide in Alaska. Need your themal underwear on under your suit. That would have to be so cold!

Interesting you think there should be more activities, did you read the Fun Times? We have been on more than 20 Carnival cruises & can't do everything there us to do! And, regarding the water slide.......what TNTGreen said!

There's a water slide on the ship because that ship won't always sail to Alaska; it could reposition to Tampa which it previously sailed out of. They won't take the water slide.
