OVERALL GOOD. EXCELLENT FOR FAMILY WITH KIDS. NEEDS IMPROVEMENT IN FORMAL DINING OPTIONS SPECIALLY FOR VEGETARIAN SOUPS AND SALADS. BREAD QUALITY WAS NOT GOOD. NOC HOICE IN BREAD. DO NOT OFFER ANY INDIAN BREAD WITH MAIN COURSE.

We had a great time. The boat is very beautiful with loads of places to hang out and do activities. Our kid LOVED Camp Ocean and came home every time with artwork and fun stories. The boat never seemed crowded or had long lines which was nice for this size boat. It was also very clean. The pool decks are a bit small but there’s lots of loungers on the decks above it if you want sun.

Wonderful time as always! Fun events and friendly staff. Only drawback was no self-service laundry or ironing available.

We had a great time for our first Carnival cruise. I would say directions and communications could be a little more clear, ie: Deck to disembark for ports, return, etc.. All in all it is the wonderful staff that always makes a cruise the best travel.

Party of 10 on board. We had a wonderful experience and time. Service was excellent, food was delicious and Cabo was a beautiful port.

Very nice ship and friendly staff. Room stewards weren't always visible or available.

Last day lifts were not working properly..we had to wait more than 30 min for lift We were on the same port for 2 days..it was supposed to be a different place

Had a relaxing time just the two of us on the beautiful Firenze.

This was our first cruise with a large group of teenagers and adults and we all had the time of our lives!

Would not recommend. The ship design is odd, the food options are very limited. The entertainment is sub par and the ports of call are meh. Biggest disappointment is the lack of hospitality from the staff. It was not a true carnival experience- the staff not only were not welcoming but also not apologetic when things went wrong.

Very disappointing, really changed our view of Carnival. Additionally, felt totally misled as did many of the passengers we encountered. This was sold as an inaugural cruise of new ship. It was the second cruise of a slightly refurbished Costa cruise ship. Feel misled and deceived. Carnival just went from a "high choice" to a "LAST choice".

It was ok. The service when it was good was great but it wasn’t always good. The spa is not relaxing it’s just one high pressured sales pitch after another. The food was ok but nothing to write home about. The disembarkation was a total nightmare.

Carnival needs to be more strict with disembarkation policy. Turn away group that disembark out of turn. If you're going to assign group then enforce it. This is why disembarkation is always a mess and bottle neck.

The ship was cute. The staff was great. The fellow passengers however were another story. I would say that 90% of the people I made contact with were not well-mannered or had no home training or class. I thought it would be different sailing out of California but no. The Same Spirit of Carnival traveled from Florida. I have never seen so many jeans, ball caps, hoodies and just bad fashions in the main dining room ever. So many loud people. So many rude children. I was on this ship as an Elite Cruiser so I got lots of gifts and the cruise was "free", so that made me feel a little bit better. I managed to win two Elite prizes in the casino and that was awesome. The weather at night was cold and windy. I was not prepared for that. I had just come off a Caribbean cruise and didn't even think to check the weather. I won't be sailing out of California again anytime soon... This was my 13th cruise THIS YEAR and one of the worst as far as passengers are concerned.

I love the Carnival product. The food is great and service is good. Only thing I don't appreciate is some of the guests. Many of them just don't know how to act in public unfortunately. For example, I was in a jacuzzi where people were just chilling. There was a man and his about 14-year-old son. The son saw his brother a couple decks above and started yelling loud for him but couldn't get his attention. The father, instead of educating his son that you shouldn't disturb everyone around by yelling in a setting like this, starts yelling at the top of his lungs to get the attention of the brother. All that just to say hello. Another time a woman was cussing out her husband very loudly with lots of f-bombs while waiting for an elevator. There were lots of people including several kids standing there being subjected to her berating. But we still had a great time overall and met plenty of good people.

Cabin 5230 was a great cabin. Very quiet area with access to the private Terrazza area and hot tubs. Private breakfast every morning made it even better. The nicest staff! Al was one of the best cabin stewards ever. Highly recommend!

Puerta Vallarta Beach excursion was super fun as was Electric Bike in desert in Cabo. Hot, hot, hot in Mazatlan!!

Had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this Ship and ports. Can’t wait until the next one

Over my family and I had a great time. There are aspect about cruising that are gone that I miss and wish the cruise industry would bring those back. I’m not cruising the amount I used to anymore because of the lack of amenities that have been taken away.
