Review summary
The ship was cute. The staff was great. The fellow passengers however were another story. I would say that 90% of the people I made contact with were not well-mannered or had no home training or class. I thought it would be different sailing out of California but no. The Same Spirit of Carnival traveled from Florida. I have never seen so many jeans, ball caps, hoodies and just bad fashions in the main dining room ever. So many loud people. So many rude children. I was on this ship as an Elite Cruiser so I got lots of gifts and the cruise was "free", so that made me feel a little bit better. I managed to win two Elite prizes in the casino and that was awesome. The weather at night was cold and windy. I was not prepared for that. I had just come off a Caribbean cruise and didn't even think to check the weather. I won't be sailing out of California again anytime soon... This was my 13th cruise THIS YEAR and one of the worst as far as passengers are concerned.Embarkation
