Carnival Firenze overview
The 5,000-guest Carnival Venezia is currently undergoing a renovation and enhancement project in Spain and will be the first ship to showcase the new ‘Carnival Fun Italian Style.’ The vessel will include a number of Carnival staples, as well as fun concepts and experiences influenced by the ship’s Italian design (as it was originally built under Carnival’s sister brand, Costa Cruises). It boasts beautiful architectural features that have been inspired by Venice, Italy.
Carnival Veneiza will sail its first guests on a 15-day Carnival Journeys transatlantic sailing on May 29, 2023, from Barcelona to its new homeport at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal in New York City. For its inaugural NYC season, the ship will operate 10 different cruise durations and 22 unique itineraries with visits to 25 ports across 14 countries.
