Review summary

Would not recommend. The ship design is odd, the food options are very limited. The entertainment is sub par and the ports of call are meh. Biggest disappointment is the lack of hospitality from the staff. It was not a true carnival experience- the staff not only were not welcoming but also not apologetic when things went wrong.

While the entertainment that was provided was good - there wasn’t enough making the comedy shows and other entertainment in the smaller lounges very crowded. They needed more of everything.

Service and Staff

The staff was not welcoming like we are used to with Carnival. Did not feel hospitality like expected. Very unapologetic when things were pointed out to them like hair on towels and garbage left in our cabin when checking in.

Ship design is odd and the overall cleanliness was fine but the stateroom was not.

The stateroom when we checked in had hair on 3/4 of the towels and garbage left in the bathroom. Did not make us feel that the stateroom had been cleaned well which made us uneasy about healthy and hygiene.

I would recommend booking another option.

I was just on this cruise and it was quite the opposite for us. Ship was beautiful and we had a very nice time. Disembark was a disaster. But we would definitely do that cruise again.

Can never understand why people rate food and drink based solely on the buffet - its food for the masses and convenient for breakfast and the odd meal here or there, there must have been so much more on offer!
