I would explain the excellent dining experience and tell them about the Mongolian Wok which is my favorite daytime meal. If opt out from the dining room, there is a delicious dinner buffet available and about the all night pizza and ice cream available.

The food choices on the ship are amazing! Be prepared to use the stairs A LOT!! the elevators take forever!!!! Get up early if you want a deck chair!

Be sure to bring those clips to clip your towel to your chair. In busy times, you might want to get up early to save your chair. Bring a badge holder and lanyard b/c you use your ship card a lot. Might bring water bottles b/c the cups are little.

Don't plan on swimming in the pool but the kids will enjoy it. Visit the adults only area for quiet and relaxation. Very nice.

Bring a coffee mug so you can move around the ship with your coffee and not spill it. Also recommend a charger with multiple adapters.

I do not know what advice to give someone other than to research their ships and the reviews thoroughly before they choose to go on a cruise. We probably will not sell on this ship ever again and will think twice before booking another Carnival Cruise because of the service we received and the food quality.
