reservations should be done in advance for shows and activities

get a balcony cabin and book your dinner option early
NancyPremo
Make your reservations for dinner and shows far in advance, and show up early for any shows if you want decent seats.

Have all of your boarding documents ready to go before you enter the terminal. There is no counter services anymore, everything is done by laptop computers with Royal Caribbean attendant standing and waiting for you when you come in. I can't even image if you do not have your pre-boarding documents.

Book restaurants ahead of time. They fill up quick.

The ship was beautiful. There are classes though.. If you get a suite or higher, you get to eat and go on the ship where others are not allowed.

Bring a camera. The photography on the ship is awful!

Make Diner Reservations before you board.

Just relax and have fun....

Be sure to reserve North Star and IFly Ripcord well in advance -- many cruisers did not and had to wait or missed the opportunity to try it. Same goes for reserving dinner at the restaurants (there is no "main dining" on Anthem) -- all of them were good, but you need reservations.

To make reservations brfore you travel which I didn't know about.
PAULJAHNKE
Book all shows and dinner reservations ahead of time, then check a week before sailing to make sure all the reservations are still there.
netrob1985
book your dinner reservation on line early
narobi69
Enjoy the amenities and relax. The ship is huge!

Be ready to eat in a different restaurant every night if you have the classic 8:30 pm slot, also the room was quite interesting in turning on the lights in the room, you use your key card. Another thing they do not hand you the door card upon boarding, left by your door. Not secure if you ask me.

Definitely book restaurants before embarking as they fill up quickly and they hold allot of table for the classic dining guests, we got refused many nights and they were atleat 15 tables empty we counted.

Look online at their app cell phone also good and schedule at least a few dinners ahead of the cruise for the first few nights. Dinners were noisy so be prepared.

if you get same captain and cruise director you will love it

We booked all of our activities on line ahead of time and had no trouble using all of the activities on board. The wave rider was terrific as was the skydiving, rock wall, bumper cars, trapeze, and the North Star observation towera. Also We had an amazing time and it exceeded our expectations.
