Anthem of the Seas is the perfect size ship with an excellent variety of restaurants and daily activities

My wife and I were comparing this ship to Princess cruises since that has been our primary cruise line for sailing for most of our lives. The last Princess sailing we were slightly disappointed but we felt it was better than what we experienced on Royal Caribbean. Many pros and cons to each vessel. I think we will try celebrity next and if it doesn’t prove to be better we will return to Princess

Overall ir was a pleasant and relaxing cruise, which is what we wanted.

Our cruise was an amazing experience, highlighted by exceptional service, delightful dining, and unforgettable moments created by the warm and friendly staff. We enjoyed exploring beautiful destinations while relaxing on a well-appointed ship. The entire journey was a perfect blend of adventure and luxury.

This cruise is a great choice, we really enjoyed it.

Although quite hot most of our journey, we did NOT have to deal with rain. Enjoyed the food and architecture. Would love to spend some more time in Spain. Very friendly and clean. The views are spectacular. Our third-party tours were much better experiences than those previously booked through the cruise line.

We went on this cruise for the views of the fjords and we were not disappointed. The views were fantastic. The ship was good and similar to other Royal cruises with the corporate focus.

Cruise was very good for us and the weather was nice

The cruise was spectacular, from the dining, to the shows, activities and excursions. The only issue was the mattress. It was hard and very uncomfortable. It was hard to sleep in and I woke up with back pain every night. Royal Caribbean can do better I think in this area. CASPER mattresses or quality mattress toppers.

This was a first cruise and I'm not sure how we could ever top it. We met wonderful people on board and off. It was amazing how we did not overhear and mean, cruel words, people seemed to get along and remembered its a vacation enjoy as much as you can. There was never a lack of things to do even if it was find a quite place to relax and nap.

Our Tep CATT was very helpful with all aspects of our cruise - booking, as well as all f/u questions.

The crew members were helpful, courteous, ready to assist. My stateroom attendent Venell was great very courteous, greeting with a smile and ready to help with every need. My dining room waiters Adi and Ashis were so helpful and attentive to every need and so accomodating as well as the surpervisors who knows the name of every guest. The entertainment was excellent. Michelle is such an excellent Cruise Director. She is present everywhere and in every show. Not sure how she did it.She needs help

This was our first time on Anthem of The Seas, had wanted to do this class of ship for the North Star Extended Experience, bumper cars and I Fly. Our 2nd transatlantic cruise with Royal. Our only complaint is that they do the time changes at 2PM. Why not 2AM when everyone is sleeping? Seems the transition would have much less impact on people if this was done. Future bookings of Transatlantic cruises will be done East to West. Overall, we enjoyed the ship, staff was great, ports were new for us and we had good tours.

It was a good cruise enjoyed by my wife, two adult children and five grandchildren. Getting on and off ship was easy. Ports of call were varied and appealed to all ages. Food was good and service was outstanding.

The quality of the food and the live music were our highlights. The announcements at the Windjammer and main dining made it clear the Anthem had set a goal, that it was achieving in recent weeks, of being ranked the overall best in the fleet. We agree.

it sucked and i will never go on another one again

Ship was beautiful there just was not entertainment going on. Ship basically shutdown around 10pm

We took this cruise not so much for the destinations but because 1. We needed to get away for relaxation 2. LOVE the ships’s onboard activities 3. Did not have to fly to departure point. LOVED Priscilla on the entertainment staff who was extremely funny and entertaining! And also Patricia the greeter at the Windjammer who we looked forward to seeing every morning. Her energy, friendliness and welcoming attitude was a joy every morning!

Overall it was a great trip, although I would like to strike our trip to Chops out of my mind. I am very happy that we did that one first because if we did that meal on our last night it would have soured the trip. Izumi and Jamie's saved the trip after that experience.

Kelly was amazing! She went above and beyond to ensure our family had everything we needed prior to our cruise up until the day we left. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience as this was my daughter’s first cruise.
