Anthem is a beautiful ship! They worked so hard to keep it as clean and safe as possible. There is something for everyone from shopping to dining to shows to activities. The staff weren't overly friendly but very polite and professional. It was my husbands birthday and our room steward decorated our room as a surprise. So unexpected and it made him feel very special. I would love to sail her again!

Our cruise started off because of weather by cruising the Hudson River then anchoring by Verrazano Bridge, day 2 was at sea with 26’waves then calming down until there was a medical emergency at the end of the cruise. So we had to go full steam back early. We still stayed on the ship until the next morning. All things considered with the captain having to alter the itinerary it was a nice trip.

There were many things to do around the ship. Did not see the cruise director much but the activities manager was fun

We loved every moment, ready to go again! Very well organized, we have no complaints!

I loved having the shipment leave out of Bayonne since I already live in New Jersey. We used their parking garage and that was a breeze coming in and out. I loved the ship, did not feel it was too big or too small.

We loved the cruise and the ship in particular. We've booked to go back on later this year.

This was a 9 day cruise up the eastern seaboard into Nova Scotia. The ship is magnificent and the food was excellent. My only suggestion would be for them to have more soft serve machines and that they remain open later. Definitely go on the North Star. If you're ever in the Saint John, New Brunswick area, be sure to go.

On The Anthem of the Seas ship was a rewarding experience. Once aboard the ship I felt and was treated like I was the guess of honor. The staff in the staterooms treated myself and my husband as they knew us and we were returning home. It was a pleasure each time we saw them. Our stateroom was always clean and well taking care of. Our dining experience was outstanding and at the top. We were always taking care of in a timely manner. We booked our next cruise while onboard and it's with the same ship! 

The Anthem of the Seas is a beautiful and huge ship. I travelled with a friend and spent most of the eight days doing activities alone. It was all good. The entertainment was fabulous. I saw three wonderful shows, two Of which I made reservations prior to boarding the ship and one I couldn't make a reservation but was allowed in ten minutes prior to the show starting. I exercised each day at the Vitality Fitness Center. Since there are no locker rooms, I had no choice but to travel back to my cabin to shower. For $99+ Tax and gratuity, I paid into the Thermal Suite located in the Vitality Spa for the week. I had unlimited access to their fabulous infrared red sauna which was extremely relaxing along with their heated loungers in which I read and took naps. The food was average. Signing up for the classic dining, I ate at 8:30 each night and rotated among four dining halls with my fabulous servers. Each dining room had a different theme and offered different menu choices. The food was good and you could order as much as you'd like, but I remember earlier cruises when the food was gourmet. I guess I was spoiled. On Christmas they offered steak on the menu for a $20 extra charge. I ordered the steak, it was very good, but past cruises offered steak many nights with no additional charge. The excursions I chose were fabulous.  I highly recommend the eight hour tour of the Kennedy Space Center. It was the highlight of the entire trip for me. In Nassau, my friend and I hired a taxi for only $25 per person and we were given a fabulous tour of Nassau by a very knowledgeable driver. He gave us ample time to stroll around the beautiful Atlantis Hotel. And, spending Christmas Eve Day on the beautiful beach at Coco Cay was a dream. My friend and I loved the Solarium while at sea. The ship had hundreds of kids on board, but the solarium was for adults only and it was easy to find lounge chairs any time of the day. We spent much time in the whirlpools. The breakfast buffet in the Windjammer was the best breakfast buffet I've ever eaten. I particularly enjoyed the smoked salmon and omelets made to order. My room was cleaned perfectly twice each day and the towel art made returning to my room each night something to look forward to. It was a great cruise that spoiled me and made it difficult to return home and have to cook and make my own bed. I hope to do many more cruises. 

Overall, we were happy with our time on Anthem. The ship was active and always had something happening for anyone. My only issue was a lack of outside seating areas away from the pool deck where I could sit back and relax. A place to either read a book, or just watch the ocean water go by.

Loved the cruise but do your research! It’s important to know what to do and expect at each port.

Amazing big ship experience. Service was great, ship was the cleanest I've ever been on. The entertainment was the best at sea ever. So much to do, if your bored, your not in the moment. We need a few days post cruise to relax and unwind lol. Cocoa cay was the highlight as always. Kennedy space center is a must see for all ages. Nassau beaches are beautiful.

Love cruising, love Anthem of the Seas, great ship. Love the Caribbean, it was a wonderful cruise, we had an amazing time. Love the sea days, so much to do on the ship. Enjoy the beach time rather than excursions everyday, since last year we did excursions everyday. Barbados and Antigua are our favorite ports so far. Cruising out of Bayonne is so easy, it is unbelievable how quickly and efficiently they get you on and off the ship. We will continue to cruise from Bayonne

Overall great cruise and want to come again........

From embark meant to disembark meant this was the best cruise we have ever taken. New Jersey is a wonderful place to take a cruise from and if you are lucky enough to get on the ship you will see what a wonderful ship it is!

Cruising is an enjoyable vacation for us, you get a little spoiled and you can eat like royalty. If you are blessed with great weather as we were it certainly enhances the trip. Nothing beats sitting on your balcony or on a deck watching the waves and enjoying a sea breeze.

We enjoyed our vacation and as experienced cruisers we may be a little more critical then other passengers. Having sailed on several classes of ships with Royal Caribbean, this was by far the most disappointing. The staff was fantastic and the food pretty good. We decided to try a Quantum Class ship because of the convenient departure port, and to see what the ship was like. It is very unlikely that we would sail on one again.

So much to do. Need more chairs by pool. Excellent food and entertainment. We didnt have children but deck 15 had alot going on in gym type area. Loved the entertainment unfortunately couldnt do all since early morning activities planned. If i coukd change something, id say more time in beaches, and have sail days between stops. Fun trip saw alot just felt rushed. Last two days enjoyed pool the best.

Stateroom attendant Cambell makes wonderful towel animals. Waitress Marie made sure I was served low sodium meals. Maricruz gave great latin fitness class on sea days. Staff and crew worked hard to make this 5th trip on the Anthem safe, fun, and relaxing.

So much better with experience. Anthem has really improved since its first six months in service.
