Loved the cruise but do your research! It’s important to know what to do and expect at each port.

Food and Dining

Won out on our bid for a suite and it made big difference. Only ate in the Windjammer Buffet once, for breakfast, and it was chaos. Chose the MDR after that for breakfast and it was great. The suite gave us access to the Coastal Kitchen for dinner and it was amazing. No need for specialty restaurants if you have this perk. Ribeye steak, lobster, lamb, duck and I even tried Barramundi!
Onboard Activities

At our age kinda avoided them and enjoyed other things
Entertainment

We Will Rock You, the Beatles Show and Frankie and the Dreamers were awesome. The Spectra Cabaret Show? Well, I’ll just say it wasn’t for me.
Service and Staff

Impeccable service and friendliness from all the staff.
Ship Quality

Always well maintained and clean although I think I prefer the design on Oasis class ships better.

Wow, loved the junior suite and the perks that go with it. Had a “suite” on NCL Bliss last year and was highly disappointed. Couldn’t call it a suite. This room was amazing, huge for a cruise ship. 2 bathrooms, lots of storage and great balcony. How do we go back to a regular balcony?
Expected more I think and the weather was poor so that might have affected our opinion. Quite a ride into town and just seemed like a big city. Probably would stay in Getxo if we were to go back.
Beautiful town. Walked the waterfront to the fort on the water. 2 euros to get in and explore the place. A bargain. Toured the town, shopped, had a few pints. Nice relaxing day.
Had reservations about this port and Le Havre itself is a bit bleak. Paris at 2 1/2 hours seemed too far so we chose to go to Rouen. Beautiful. 10 euros for a taxi to the train station and we had pre-booked our train tickets for 5 euros each. Rouen is amazing. We had arrived on the weekend of a Joan of Arc festival and the place was alive. Our best day.
