Review summary

Enjoyed the ship and the ports. Be warned when going through Bay of Biscay you can definitely feel the ship moving. Be prepared if you are prone to motion sickness

Embarkation

Super quick. From the moment we got in line to getting on the ship was maybe 15-20 min

Was able to accommodate my gluten allergy. Good to visit at least once. Would not necessarily need to go again.

Lots of room. Lots of storage. Could not get the TV to swivel but not a big deal

Ship tip

If you want to go to the pub for music or schooner bar for trivia get there early not a lot of seating and it fills up quick

Southampton (London), England

Stayed right next to the port super easy to walk over the morning of the cruise. Shopping center with tons of food options 10 min walk. Old town Southampton about 10 min walk was very interesting.

If you do the med beaches, the ship goes around the Bay of Biscay.

Joyandjerry from what I understand it's the Bay of Biscayne area that is well known for being rough waters. The cruise director kept making jokes about it. When we were not in that area I did not feel a thing.

Glad you enjoyed your trip! Spectra was shown 2018 when I was on her, and nobody ever likes it. Why do they still show it? Surprised you got any motion from such a large ship.
