Review summary

Stateroom attendant Cambell makes wonderful towel animals. Waitress Marie made sure I was served low sodium meals. Maricruz gave great latin fitness class on sea days. Staff and crew worked hard to make this 5th trip on the Anthem safe, fun, and relaxing.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

San Juan cultural experience included sightseeing at El Morro Fort, the Capitol building, the Holocaust memorial, statues of US presidents who have visited the island and memorials of Puerto Ricans who have made positive contributions to the USA. It was after 6 pm and very dark when we arrived at a restaurant in Piñones where we purchased Puerto Rican snacks served by decendents of African and Taino Indian hertigage. It was too dark to walk through the Pinelands (Piñones).

St John Island Tour - Make sure that you eat breakfast before you sail to St John so you won't have to buy snacks onboard the boat. After the ride around the national park we found restaurants to purchase snacks while waiting for the return boat back to St Thomas.

Art, culture and Beach was purchased through Cruise Only Agency. Jacqui was our tour guide with her educational commentaries about local people and customs. She entertained us with musical group and art class. A delicious barbecue lunch was cooked at the beach.

Day Trip To St Nevis was cancelled. We took yook agroup taxi to the Carambola Beach Club and Restaurant where we rented chairs and an umbrell

The water taxi left you in walking distance of St Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church on 51 Front St. We walked to the Holland House hotel and rented beach chairs and an umbrella. Drinks were included.
