Review summary

From embark meant to disembark meant this was the best cruise we have ever taken. New Jersey is a wonderful place to take a cruise from and if you are lucky enough to get on the ship you will see what a wonderful ship it is!

We were off the bus and on the ship within 30 minutes. Fastest time so far

The food was very good in windjammer and seem to change every day

Onboard Activities

We did the pools mostly and were extremely happy that they were covered and you could go in them from the minute you got on the cruise. Especially liked the solarium which had its own bistro and bar

Absolutely our favorite place. We spent many days there talking with the people going in the Jacuzzi or just sitting there and playing cards. It was so nice to have a small buffet there and the bar. You really never had to leave this area, it had everything you needed

North Star

We did Norstar on the night we were in Florida at dusk and what a lovely view of Florida. It was not scary at all and you could not feel any movement as they were lifting us up. Before you knew it we were high in the sky

We had a virtual balcony and this was amazing. When we came in to port you could see it on the balcony screen. I thought maybe it would be something they would be feeding in but it was in real time

Pack your bathing suit in your carry on because you can go right in the pool the minute you get on the ship

Disembarkation

We were off the ship and waiting for our bus at 8 AM. This is the fastest we have ever disembarked. There were no lines and no problems finding our luggage
