Fantastic Italian Cruise! by MichelleL19

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Rhapsody (RETIRED) 500 / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The ship was extremely warm and friendly. A bit small, which was a good thing, because you got to know everyone on the ship and it felt like one big family.

A Wonderful Cruise! by JoeB2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Costa Magica / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

A fabulous value with great port stops...perhaps not enough time in a couple, but overall sufficient. Ship staff second to none - polite, neat, knowledgable, understandable (language) and most of all friendly.

Nice ship but not for businnes people by KamilK

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Costa Magica / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Tehre is no wireless network in anywhere in the ship. No wireless internet as a result. You can only use the computers of the ship and cannot download any file from your messages. I had to change my room key 6 times and had to wait at the customers service desk for more than 2 hours totally. The electronic lock do not work properly.

Costa Magica by MichaelP13

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Costa Magica / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

I thought the ship was clean and well organized. I sometimes had ask questions about what was going on as there were only a few Americans on board. The food was ok you must remember this is a Europeon Cruise line. The ports of call were great. I challange anyone to find a better value for the money. The crew was friendly and curtious, and wanted to help as long as you were polite to them.

A very interesting cruise by GarryM

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Costa Magica / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The ship is beautiful, the ammenities are very nice. The food is average. The ship's personnel are very respectful and patient with the exception of the Customer Service personnel who do not help solve problems; they just send to others places, and you go round and round. For example we had a problem with a pay per view movie, but we were unable to get a refund because the Customer service personnel just kept sending us in circles. We found out later they shoulld have sent us to somebody else.

A Memorable Cruise by MatiD

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Brilliance of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary on the Brillinace of the Seas. It was a fabulous experience. The service in the cabin was impeccable as was the service in the dining room. We were pleasantly surprised to find ample space to put away our clothing. The staff throughout the ship were very attentive and helpful. The shows were great and the various music lounges were most enjoyable. I enjoyed the gym facilities but would have liked more classes throughout the day that were free of charge. The indoor pool area is beautiful and the whirpools were great.I would recommend this ship to my friends and family. It was a great way to see Europe and enjoy the convenience of a floating hotel.

Great ship - exceeded expectations! by VictoriaI

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Norwegian Gem / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The NCL Gem was truly just that....a Gem! The crew really went out of their way to ensure quality service! I enjoyed having a person to turn to when we needed a special reservation or to celebrate an event. The crew really went out of their way to make sure we were kept happy. The food was fantastic. I was very surprised as I have been on upper scale cruiselines and my level of expectation on NCL wasn't that high. I was very impressed with the quality and variety of the various menus. I also need to menion the faciltiies at the Spa. The jacuzzis were amazing...and so was the freshly squeezed OJ!

Mixed Feelings by KimF7

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The ports of call were great. We got to see a lot in a short period of time but that left us little to no time to truly enjoy the ship.

a good cruise by DavidC19

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Norwegian Gem / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

disappointing after previous NCL ships (Norway and Norwegian Sun). no Captain's party, plastic flowers, no ice sculptures, disorganized in the dining rooms, cabin very small, layout not nearly as good as previous ships and colour scheme garish. entertainment is excellent. staff friendly. La Cucina restaurant was excellent and no additional charge. coffee machines in Garden Cafe serve espresso, cappuchino at no charge, a nice touch. food very good overall particularly in the specialty restaurants. Barcelona cruise terminal best ever, quick, efficient, clean and smart. embarkation and debarkation a "breeze".

A Mediterranean Cruise to Remember by ChanelG

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Gem / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

This was the most awesome cruise I ever was on. To be able to see so much and do so much in 7 days was incredible. The ship was brand new (only 19 days old) and I was impressed with the crew who did everything to please you. Any concerns were addressed immediately and quickly rectified. The Freestyle dining is the best but reservations are needed. There was such a great variety of activities onboard that one would never be bored.

An Amazing Cruise Adventure by TomP6

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Gem / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

My overall impressions of the Norwegian Gem were absolutely amazing and stunning. I couldn't believe how big the ship was. I have never been on a cruise before, this was such an amazing adventure. We did have some bad weather, waves or something the first night there, it was really rocky or wavy, it was the only day traveling East, (from Barcelona to Italy), other than that it was a very smooth cruise. Overall, it was a vacation to beat by far, it was the most amazing vacation i have ever taken, I have never been on a cruise before nor have ever been to Europe before. very very nice.

Costa Fortuna by AndriaY

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Costa Fortuna / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The ship was adequate. The decor was OK. I missed the ammenities that are offered on American cruise ships like having the bed turned down at night. The chocolate and the towel figures were sorely missed. The cost for the use of the Internet was prohibitive and it was slow!

MSC Cruise lines were terrible by KayeK

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Musica / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

If you ate lunch at noon and were scheduled for the second dinner, it would be 9 hours before you got to eat anything. There were no open coffee, tea, and water bars. You were charged for anything you drank at dinner whether it was coffee, water, beer, etc. There was very little cruise line entertainment. I could not wait to get off the ship. The work out room was very limited. There were 13 bars and they were empty most of the cruise. What a waste of space!

Lovely ship, with many amenities by MargaritaH

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The service people were outstanding...from cabin assistants to wait staff to spa attendants...all wonderful. The quality of the food was not outstanding and having to pay extra for espresso or capuccinos as well as ice cream was a total let down. Some to the tours were very nice but others needed improvement. The shows were all excellent because the show people were well choosen. The movie theatre onboard is of poor quality...skip it. The spa is delightful and relaxing. We had fun overall!
