Ports of call

Malaga, Spain

5 out of 5
The Cathedral, fortress and palace are very interesting.
Don't Miss: The Cathedral of Malaga is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen.

Marseille (Provence), France

3 out of 5
We visited the Notre Dame cathedral, which provided an exceptional view of the ciy and surrounding area. The port didn't offer much more than that to arouse our interest.

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy

5 out of 5
Whether you opt to travel to Pisa or Florence, this is a great port. having been here a couple of times, we chose to go too Lucca on a Celebrity tour. The guide was the best guide I have ever had for an excusion.
Don't Miss: Take your choice -- Pisa, Florence -- or Lucca.

Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France

5 out of 5
We were in Villefranche-Sur-Mer last year at approximately the same time. We enjoyed this visit as much as the last one. The port allows travel to Nice, Monte Carlo and Eze.
Don't Miss: I would recommend taveleing to the city of Eze.

Valencia, Spain

3 out of 5
Interesting Spanish port -- but less appealing than Malaga or Barcelona.

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

5 out of 5
The train allows easy access to Rome at a very reasonable round-trip price. Rome is Rome -- no need to say more!
Don't Miss: St, Peter's and the Collesium are a must see.

Gibraltar (U.K.)

3 out of 5
Interesting port, but once you've been there -- it will be enough.

Ajaccio, Corsica

5 out of 5
A worthy stop on the trip. A very nice change of pace to the mainland ports. Beautiful views of the mountains.
