The ship was smooth and the service was great. We really enjoyed everything. Our stateroom was a nice size even for the floor we were on and was kept nice and full of suplies.

The seafood was very fresh. It was convient to order room service from the flat panel TV. The variety of food was exceptional. Ice cream was made fresh daily and you could tast the difference.

Service and Staff

We were gien the best of service on a daily basis. The waiters in the grand dining room knew our names and specific preferences in a timely manner. My order was checked each night to ensure it did not contain food that I am alleric to.

Ports of call

Malaga, Spain

Unless the restaraunts have changed, do not do the Tapas tasting with the ship. The port is beautiful.

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

5 out of 5
Ticket to the sistine chapel are only available from 10:30 to 12:00 Mon-Sat. Make this stop your first one if you have not seen it before. The trip from the dock into Rome is 1 1/2 hour. Do not take a taxi. If you can't afford a trip through the ship take the train.
Don't Miss: The sistine chapel

Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France

Monaco was a beautiful port. The palace was nice and grand casino was well worth the visit.

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy

5 out of 5
The tour from the cruise line was very nice. Florence's out door museum is certainly a must see if you don't get to pisa.
Don't Miss: Leaning tower of Pisa

Ajaccio, Corsica

Valencia, Spain

Don't Miss: The holy grail

Gibraltar (U.K.)

Independent tours will take you to the rock and then to the center of town but not back to the ship.
Don't Miss: Tailless apes at the top of the rock.

Pros: The martini bar and the spa

Cons: The karoake song book needed more songs
