Good food and entertainment. Some of the ships musical taste caters towards older persons and the entertainment was better and somewhat more current. Not everyone who cruises likes 1950's or 60's music.

Zuiderdam is definitely a more cultured crowd and not the party crowd. We like the relaxing atmosphere.

Looking for a quiet spot to read or relax, try the Explorers Lounge on the Lower Promenade deck. Also a great place to take in the music from the Lincoln Center.

Din't get interior stateroom....SMALL!! Eat at the LIdo, at odd times. People would read books, newspapers, play games or just talk constantly and held the table, so diners could not find a table to sit and eat at!!

Don't sail on it. Ac issues, engine trouble, electrical and burning smells in our corridor, limited unexperienced staff and nobody cares about you. I felt very unsafe. Except for our cabin steward.
