This cruise had a very mature look to it. There were still plenty of younger families and guests, not the partying college crowd though. This cruise was very relaxing and slow paced. We really enjoyed the staff and crew and look forward to seeing their smiling faces in Oct. when we do the Canada/New England cruise.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Fort Lauderdale is by far the easiest to get in and out of. Parking at the Midport garage was a breeze. After going thru security and checking in at he terminal, it took less than 45 mins to board the ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
I thought the food was very good and there was so much to choose from. The Asian Market on the Lido deck was my favorite by far. The fries at the Dive In were my wife's favorite.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Pools and Hot Tubs were not overly crowded and were very nice. The America Test Kitchen lectures were very informative.
Entertainment

The piano girls in the Billboard Lounge were the best!! The main stage shows were fine.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The room stewards were the best that we have ever had. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They also kept the fruit bowl full for my wife. We had Open Seating Dining and really liked that. We had the best waiter (Gabriel) on the first night and requested him every night we went to the main dining room.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship is easy to navigate and I was surprised on the amount of artwork scattered around the ship. It was like a hunt to find all the nice pieces on different decks. The ship was well maintained and there was always some cleaning and wiping off the common areas.
Cabin / Stateroom

Room was fair size, bed was oh so comfortable. Bathroom was very standard but nice and there was plenty of storage and closet space.
Ship tip
Looking for a quiet spot to read or relax, try the Explorers Lounge on the Lower Promenade deck. Also a great place to take in the music from the Lincoln Center.
It was Sunday when we arrived so a lot of the town was shutdown. The floating bridge was very neat and the town was so colorful. I would have liked to have seen the floating market but oh well, maybe next time.
A lot of history here but it was hard to look around very long without a street vendor trying to sell you something. I know they are trying to make a living, but should take "No Thank You" for a answer right away. Did the old city on our own.
I liked this small port town. It was very working class and the people were very friendly. We took the canal boat trip and went to a supermarket to buy Costa Rican coffee.
Very well organized and smooth. We picked a 9:00-9:15 am debarkation time and was off the ship in customs by 9:00 am. Even being Easter Sunday everything flowed smoothly. The porters at the port were very helpful and got my wife to curbside while I went for the car.
