We liked the size of the ship and it was only 1900 passengers, so nothing seemed crowded except the buffet on sea days.

They need to send guests the address where ship lies to embark, a lot of cities have more then one cruise terminal.

I would recommend Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordham, Zaandam over this ship. The destinations and tours are the only reason to book this one. Another day or two in Manila would be better than Boracay (beaches only and by tender which took hours). Puerto Princessa is not much better, but at least you are at a dock

We were first time cruisers. This was not a good choice as the weather was pretty terrible, and my husband was ill enough for about a quarter of the trip to not want to go on another cruise.

Expect no water in stateroom unless you order from room service and it comes in multiple glasses. Everything is nickel and dimed now. Still don’t know was their service tax is because gratuity is another daily charge separate from this charge. Overall the staff helpful and kind and smiling.

Get a seat early in the Rolling Stones venue if you want to see the band. It's a very popular venue, and you will have to stand in the back if you don't get there early.

Know that this is a small ship. E.g. It's half the size of a Princess, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian cruises. Limited activities and lack varieties and options. It did have a nice retirement home atmosphere.

Relax and don't get in a hurry. The ship is just the right size to unwind. It's an older vessel, but it is clean and well maintained.

This is a smaller boutique ship and classy - not a late night party boat which was exactly what we wanted.
