Review summary

The cruise was great. My wife and I only had one complaint. The beds were no better than if we were to sleep on the ground. They were hard and extremely uncomfortable.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Hassle free and well organized

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food in the main dining room and the Lido was very good with a few exceptions. The beef was a little tough. The service was good. The Pinnacle Grill was disappointing. The medium rare ribeye I got was more like we'll done.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
My wife did some games and seemed to be pleased.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I am always amazed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff and crew.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was well maintained, and we loved the size. Crowds were never a problem.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
I love the layout of the cabins. It would be considered a suite on other cruiselines.

Ship tip

Relax and don't get in a hurry. The ship is just the right size to unwind. It's an older vessel, but it is clean and well maintained.

Ports of call

Sitka, Alaska

4 out of 5
Great history with friendly people and a quaint downtown.

Seattle, Washington

3 out of 5
Seattle used to be a great city, but it is now a toilet in most downtown areas. My guess is the liberal use of drugs permitted.

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
Loved the glaciers.

Cruise Puget Sound

4 out of 5
Always enjoyed the Sound.

Victoria, British Columbia

3 out of 5
There was not enough time to really enjoy it. All shops seemed to have the same things.

Ketchikan, Alaska

4 out of 5
Time there was too short.

Cruise Hubbard Glacier

4 out of 5

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Well organized.
