Good with some big disappointments by MusicGrazer

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sirena / Destination: Europe - Western Europe

The food was a HUGE disappointment and one of the primary reasons for trying Oceania. Not sure I would sail again unless I read reviews that indicate they have addressed whatever issues they were having. Specifically, food was bland; a number of times it took an extremely long time to be served; one of our two dinners in the steakhouse had about the worst beef filet I've ever had -- obviously poor quality and had been frozen -- color was grey and tasteless. Red Ginger was very good each time we dined there.

Disappointed in This Luxury Cruise Line by karennaman

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Sirena / Destination: Panama Canal, Central America

The ship was beautiful, but the staterooms were small. Food in the buffet and specialty restaurants was good, but the dining room could use some help in that department. Loved the library, spa, gym festive Christmas decorations, but was disappointed they didn't do anything special for Christmas Eve dinner. New Year's Eve party was a lot of fun, and the New Year's Day Brunch was spectacular.

great Cruise by Pbgtx

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sirena / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

Oceania is a little more than the normal crude line but you aren’t paying for some of the basics that were charged on other lines. Water coffee smoothies soft drink juices etc were included and the mini bar in your room had soft drinks that were stocked. We found the cost difference minimal. We enjoyed the smaller boat. We actually met people and saw them again and could dock in smaller ports away from the masses. In one port we were walking in and off while the large cruise ship had big lines in the sun. This is definitely an adult cruise. It has entertainment that others enjoyed. We just didn’t do any later night activities due to early excursions the next day. We loved the other passengers we met. It catered to those who really like to travel. Almost everyone was a repeat Oceania customer. We plan to be in the future

Amazing Med Cruise by cherylhaydenram

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Sirena / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

The overall Cruise was an amazing once in a lifetime adventure. We had an awesome time visiting all of the ports getting a taste of the region. The excursions were well planned and extremely informative. The staff was outstanding and took great care of us during our time onboard. The ship itself was very luxurious and beautifully appointed. I would recommend the cruise line and ship to all my family and friends.

Cruising South America Buenos Aires to Lima by dsinger99

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sirena / Destination: South America

Cruise had more nature options than any of our past cruises which was great. There was lots of beautiful countryside to see and walk thru. Some of the ports had very little / nothing to see and should have been skipped.

Unforgettable Colonial Cuba Cruise by wlj

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sirena / Destination: Cuba

We chose this cruise for the itinerary -- we wanted to see Cuba and nothing else. It was a nice relaxing cruise. We met some amazing people. We never buy the pictures or go to the casino so we did not miss them. I would have liked to see some more souvenirs in the gift shops suitable to buy for grandchildren. Cuba is behind the times in handicap accessibility but the people try to be helpful.

Was VERY pleased with my whole experience aboard the Sirena. by mjqrc

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Sirena / Destination: Cuba

I was entirely satisfied with everything. The food was terrific. The staff was gracious and accommodating. We were kept informed each day. The talks were excellent. Ventriloquist was entertaining. The karaoke music was too loud and drowned out the singers. Would recommend this cruise.

Please Oceania, try harder, much harder Sirena. Hope this isn't the new way you're heading. by pandora1958

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Sirena / Destination: Cuba

If this had been my first cruise on Oceania it would have been my last had I not been on TWENTY THREE prior cruises with Oceania. Something was just wrong! The MDRn food leaves a lot to be desired. The best meal was in Tuscan/Polo.

Great ports, service and cuisine has deterioated by janetmbirnkrant

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sirena / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

This was our 13th or 14th Oceania cruise- have lost count. Each time the service and food has gotten a notch less (maybe since lines merged. We took a break for a year and traveled on Regent which was a delight. Went back this time to try Ocenia's newest ship, Sirena. Very disappointed. Regent was the best. Have reservations for Chrystal next year in addition to Regent Summer 2019 and looking forward to that voyage on Explorer (Regent) - great service and excellent food.

Lovely Cruise Through the northern Mediterranean Sea by roselkoz

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sirena / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

A few of the excursions on this itinerary seemed like they were just thrown in to avoid having a shorter cruise. I think that there must be some better ports than Bastia and Olbia.

Cruise to Cuba by Bobleen

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sirena / Destination: Cuba

The cruise was as advertised. A second day in Santiago de Cuba in lieu of one of the stops in the Bahamas would have made for a better cruise.

So Much Right, So Much Wrong by Jlsoftly

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sirena / Destination: South America

There was so much right and wrong about the cruise. When you can't use the toilet in your cabin and they can't get your wife's food correct, it spoils the whole cruise experience. Our previous experience on the Oceania Marina was entirely different. My final word for Oceania is this. Viking Ocean cruises is coming for you with a fleet a brand new ships and a base cabin that is better than this ship's veranda cabin. The days with you can compete with an outdated ship and an inferior cabin (bathroom) design ARE NUMBERED. The word is going to get out. A 'luxury cruiseline'. Not on this ship.

South American Adventure to the End of the World by ghswartz214

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sirena / Destination: South America

The single biggest factor for us was uncooperative weather and rough seas. It forced us indoors instead of being able to lounge on the deck. It resulted in overcrowding of the Terrace Café because no one wanted to eat outdoors. Some indoor activities were filled up before the scheduled times because being outdoors was not much of an option.
