Enjoyable and interesting cruise with fascinating ports by ebkelsey160

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sirena

Overall a great itinerary but the ship was a little lacking based on previous Oceania cruises on other vessels. Love the smaller size but it’s getting a bit out of date. The staff was great, very friendly and supportive. All the stops were interesting although they could probably loss one in favor of spending more time at another.

This was a great trip with good ports. We recommend tours while in the big cities. Cruise ship was really good.

Panama Canal was great. Oceania wasn't. by rlbernthal

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sirena

Don't take tours sponsored by Oceania. One of ours was terrible and they didn't stand behind it. Should have been a 7 hour tour and it lasted 10. We got back on the ship after sailing time. We asked for a refund and they said no because not enough people complained. A ridiculous position for a cruise line that is supposed to be higher end. This was our second time with them and will never sail with them again.

If you enjoy a lot of shore time and less cruising time. Many days the sailing didn't start until 11 pm , when many people are getting ready to sleep.

Oceania caters mostly to an older traveler. GREAT Food, great itineraries and tours, and enough entertainment and activities to make me continue to book on Oceania. Try to find a cabin in the middle of the ship if available. Book a larger cabin if you think you'll be cramped.
