Review summary

Overall a great itinerary but the ship was a little lacking based on previous Oceania cruises on other vessels. Love the smaller size but it’s getting a bit out of date. The staff was great, very friendly and supportive. All the stops were interesting although they could probably loss one in favor of spending more time at another.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very organized and pleasant

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Overall very good but need more staff assistance at the buffet. Too few people to cover multiple stations particularly during breakfast when more passengers are rushed. Cookies and desserts look good but have little taste.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
They try to provide varied activities but we were more focused on the tours and ports

Entertainment

Did not partake of any of the entertainment while on board. Nothing specifically interested us.

Children's Programs

No children traveling.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Personnel very friendly and helpful especially cabin staff. Buffet seems to be understaffed and not as responsive as staff on previous Oceania cruises

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship is getting a bit out of date. Some of the furniture in the buffet dining area was worn. The other parts out of date are the bathrooms in the cabins which are small by todays standards with extremely small showers

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin is a great location and comfortable with very ample storage. The only exception is the size of the bathroom noted in the previous comment.

Ship tip

Be prepared for a small shower and bathroom in the veranda cabins

Ports of call

Copenhagen, Denmark

5 out of 5
We spent two days in city prior to sailing and they were wonderful. Great place to visit.

Goteborg (Gothenburg), Sweden

Oslo, Norway

5 out of 5

Edinburgh, Scotland

5 out of 5
Would have liked to have more time at this location.

Kirkwall, Orkney Islands, Scotland

4 out of 5
This location was okay and would have preferred a longer stop in Edinburgh

Torshavn, Faroe Islands

4 out of 5

Akureyri, Iceland

5 out of 5

Isafjordur, Iceland

5 out of 5

Reykjavik, Iceland

5 out of 5
Was surprised how subtly different the three stops in Iceland were. Originally concerned three ports would be too much and redundant

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
So much easier to disembark at a port where you have already been docked as opposed to arriving the morning of disembarkation

Great itinerary and review. I also agree that the bathrooms are very, very small and cramped. But, it’s an older ship and would be impossible to change the layout. I love their larger, 1200 passenger ships so much more.
