Very disappointed in the “Oceania luxury” experience based on the cost. Staff was great. Ports were interesting. Some excursions should be reevaluated and maybe revised, e.g. Berlin and Helsinki Fortress excursions. Ship needs updating and overhaul. Food delivery process needs to be improved to be less chaotic. Probably won’t sail on Oceania again.

Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Chaotic experiences. While the servers were wonderful and the food passable, the food delivery experience was chaotic. The Grand Dining Room, Waves Grill and Terrace Cafe should all have the same hours. And the Dining Room should be open for lunch. It was always a race to get a table at the grill and cafe. The ordering at the Waves Grill was chaotic. There was no initial i formation that passengers could order at the tables. The result was people congregating around the actual grill area trying to order food and the servers having to handle that crowd along with those who were at tables. In the Terrace cafe there were not enough food servers to meet the demand of the people wanting food and no process for passengers to follow to get their food. Again, chaos.
Onboard Activities

Trivia contests, attended a couple of shows, spa, putting green, Casino, Library and Game Room.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Entertainment was enjoyable but not to the level of other cruises I have taken.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Waiters were friendly, helpful and efficient. Room Stewards Ricarda and Maria are the gold standard for service. They anticipated our needs and were always available. All personnel were friendly.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
While areas were clean and maintained, the ship itself needs updating and work. It was noisy and there was constant banging and ship shuddering when arriving and leaving a port. Having been on many cruises on different cruise lines, I have never experienced anything similar.
Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
The cabin was roomy and always kept clean and serviced by our room attendants. However, the wall between our cabin and the next was very thin and we could hear whatever was happening in the next cabin. Very surprised for a concierge level stateroom to be like that.
Ship tip
Prepare to be disappointed. While described as a luxury cruise line, it is not. Other cryises at less cost on different cruise lines have been better.
Overall good. However, charging $659 USD to arrange for taxis for those who are not using Oceania transfer or post cruise excursions, is outrageous. We were able to arrange for our own taxi online for 92.50 Euros.
